As I took a shortcut down the side of the stream, I heard something.

"What the fuck happened to you?!"

I stopped walking, Shiro looking up at me in confusion

I stopped walking, Shiro looking up at me in confusion. I walked towards where I heard the voice, hiding behind a tree as I peered out at a familiar group of boys, with one extra addition who was bleeding rather profusely from his stomach. I watched as they helped the boy up, taking him with them into the forest.

I decided to follow them, knowing Shiro would be fine with the extra exercise. They were traveling by bike, which made it hard but I managed. I watched at a distance as they sat the hurt kid on a crate in an alley beside the convenience store before 3 of them went inside.

"They're probably broke as all shit..."

I picked Shiro up and walked into the store, only to hear the three boys fighting about how they were going to pay for the supplies. I walked into the same isle as them, immediately silencing them as I handed Shiro to Bill and snatched the supplies Eddie was holding.

"Hey what-!"

"Watch my dog."

I walked up to the counter, placing the items in front of the man who proceeded to ring them into the till, his hungry eyes not once leaving my body.

"12.45 please"

I gave him some cash from my wallet, swiping a few candy bars as he turned away.

"Keep the change."

I took my bag of goods and pushed open the door, motioning for them to follow me. I could feel their confused stares on the back of my head as I rounded the corner.

"What the fuck is she doing here?!"

I ignored the boy with glasses, instead bending down in front of the larger boy.

"Mind lifting your shirt for me?"

I quietly cleaned his cuts, making out what looked to be the beginning of a word.

'Henry...'

I secured the bandages around his waist and stood up, turning to Bill who still held my puppy. I held up the bag, swinging it gently side to side.

"Trade ya."

"Oh, r-r-right."

I was about to walk away when a hand landed on my shoulder. I turned to see, again, the spectacled teen holding me back.

"Why the fuck are you helping us?! Aren't you Bower's bitch?"

"Richie..!"

I looked down, grasping lightly onto my shirt. I was flooded with bad memories, like scenes from a horror movie on repeat.  I looked up again to meet their eyes, holding back the urge to cry, only to end up with unshed tears blurring my vision.

"People call me that, sure. But I never agreed to be used like some kind of toy."

I pulled myself out of his reach, walking away. I passed by a girl with long red hair, brushing against her shoulder but paying no mind.

I dropped Shiro back at home and grabbed a towel and a swim suit.

"Maybe a nice swim at the Quarry will help clear my mind."

I changed into the simple two piece black swimsuit, throwing a large sweater and high-waisted shorts over them. I left some food on the floor for Shiro and left home again. The walk was short, since I lived on one of the further ends of town. Nobody was there, leaving the water still. I stood atop the cliff, dropping my bag and pulling my sweater off. I shivered as I took off my shorts, stuffing both into my bag before moving closer to the cliff.

As I was about to jump in, I heard distant voices, quickly getting closer. Very familiar voices. I turned around, crossing my arms over my stomach as the infamous group of boys came into view. They all stopped, their eyes raking up and down my exposed body.

"Are you guys following me now?"

"What? N-N-No! We would ne-!"

"If I knew you had a body like that, maybe I would have~"

"Richie!"

I couldn't help but blush in embarrassment, covering the lower half of my face with the back of my hand.

The girl I know as Beverly rolled her eyes.

"Are you guys going to continue to gawk or are we actually going to swim?"

"Uh r-right. Who's going first?"

Richie lightly shoved Eddie, who was still getting undressed.

"Eddie will."

"Screw that!" The short boy hissed, throwing this things atop his fanny pack. The injured kid from before stepped forward, determination written all over him.

"I'll go."

"With those cuts you have on your
chest, I'm not sure if getting in this water-!"

They all but ignored me as they argued about something called Grey water. I sighed, having enough of the interruption of my swimming time.

"Yeah, have fun with that..."

I smiled awkwardly, stepping off the ledge and letting myself fall back. I twisted around, sucking in a breath before diving in head first.

The chill of the water against my warm skin felt nice and calming. I swam up to the surface, pushing my hair back and looking up at the group. Beverly was next, calling the boys Pussies before jumping in. I decided to stop watching them and swam over to my own area, not wanting to intrude.

Their screams and laughter were quieter now, leaving me in peace. I turned and resorted to floating on my back, looking up at the sky. The world was all but muffled as my ears stayed submerged under the surface. I felt something brush against my back, my body jumping away out of instinct. I flipped back upright, staring down into the dark water below me.

Eyes

A startled scream ripped through my throat as I was dragged under. I struggled against the thing that held my ankle, sharp points digging into my skin and adding pulses of pain. I looked down, only to see a clown, his arm unnaturally extended to reach me. His smile was haunting as he slowly began to open his mouth revealing rows of razor sharp teeth. My lungs burned, as did my eyes and leg. I was tugged down quickly, his mouth latching around my ankle. Another scream from my mouth, this time letting water in to fill my lungs. It was only a matter of time before I drowned. A hand reached into the water and grabbed mine, ripping me from the thing's grip, but also further tearing up my ankle.

Multiple hands pulled me out of the water and in seconds I was kneeling on the shore, hacking the water out of my lungs. I couldn't stop trembling as I turned to sit, only getting a glimpse of my torn up flesh before having to look away again. I met the eyes of Eddie who was to my left, his eyes wide and hands hovering over my body, unsure what to do.

"What the fuck happened down there?! We just heard you fucking scream before you disappeared under the water!"

I gripped onto my hair, shaking my head. Streams of tears fell down my cheeks, mixing with the water and blood staining the rocks.

"I-I...It was h-horrible..! There was...there w-was.." I could barely get my mouth to form coherent sentences. "A-..."

"What the fuck is going on here?" I froze, as did everybody else. They all turned, except for me. I already knew who stood behind me.

They all stood up, Bill being the only one who spoke.

"Bowers.."
