"I WANT COFFEE."

"And you're definitely going to get some with that attitude."

"Would both of you just shut up already? You're scaring Cat."

The familiar trio of arguing voices is nothing new in the setting of Hollywood Arts. Heads turn as the doors slam open, and quickly avert gazes upon realizing it's none other than the West twins and their male friend that always seems to tail them. Along with the ditzy redhead that seems like she's going to pass out if she keeps listening to the twins snapping at each other.

"I'm just saying," the younger one says, "if Jade wants a coffee, she's perfectly capable of getting one herself without demanding it from you or I."

"And if Jenny wants to keep her vocal cords intact," the older one hisses at her sister, "she'd shut her mouth and get me a damn coffee."

Beck Oliver sighs and runs a hand down his face in annoyance.

"I am not your servant," Jennifer West exclaims. "No wonder Beck likes me better."

He raises his hands. "Oh no! Do not drag me into this! Can we just start the day off not screaming at each other?"

"This doesn't change my coffee problem."

"Oh my—fine, I'll buy you a coffee. Now stop nitpicking your sister."

"You can't tell me what to do," Jade West snaps, though does stop talking when Beck hands her a five dollar bill. "I'm going to stop because I want to stop."

"Whatever. Beck, go get us some good seats in class, would ya? I'll go with her."

"I don't need you to come with me."

"Well, now you've made me want my own coffee, so I'm coming with you."

Beck smiles, ruffles Jennifer's hair, and kisses Jade on the cheek before wishing the pair luck and disappearing with Cat.

Jennifer leads the way to the cafe with a wide grin as her older sister stomps behind her. Festus is, as always, ready to take their order and scream it behind him even though he's the only person in the truck. As always, she orders herself an iced cappuccino and Jade a hot mocha.

As they wait for the coffee to be made, Jennifer turns to Jade and smiles, says, "You know, you shouldn't frown all the time. Someone could be falling in love with your smile," before poking her nose playfully.

"Don't touch me," Jade snaps.

"Ooh, you're in a baddd mood this morning."

"Shut up, Jenny, you're really annoying today."

"Always am. You love me anyway."

"I love no one."

Jennifer whistles lowly. "Tell that to Beck."

Their coffee arrives before Jade can retaliate.

The walk to their acting classroom is a brisk and silent trip, and secretly both are praying their friends were able to get three chairs so they could sit together.

Things immediately take a turn for the worse, however, when arriving in Sikowitz's classroom to see an unfamiliar girl wiping her arm on Beck's stomach. Jennifer, the first one to enter, quickly turns around to block the scene from his girlfriend, though Jade sees through her poor act and snaps on the new girl.

"Dude!" she exclaims, gaining both of their attention. "Why are you rubbing my boyfriend?"

The girl seems intimidated, as most people are when first meeting the West Twins, and she stammers out, "I just—I spilled coffee on—"
