If it was up to me i would have stayed in England, but when do I ever get to decide anything?

Today was my first day at my new school in New Jersey and I'm kinda nervous. Although I've always found it easy to make friends I had a feeling it might be a little harder here than in London.

I tried to make myself look decent by plumping my curls and throwing on a pair of blue jeans, white Air Force 1's and a grey Nike jumper, basic I know.

As I'm grabbing my bag on my way out, my phone vibrates with a message from my best friends in London.

💞✨ho3's✨💞
Liss- good luck girlie let us know how ur first day goes !!!
June - have fun bby girl
Mal - Don't replace us too quick 😪
Nova - love u all sm

When I arrive I can't believe my eyes. This
can't be my school. It's absolutely huge! I don't even know where to start.

Anxiously I look around and notice a group of three girls stood together near the entrance.

"Hi I'm nova, I'm new, I was wondering if you could show me where the office is?" I smiled at them waiting on their response.

They stood there looking at me for a minute or two before squealing and laughing.

"omg did you guys hear her?!"

"No cap your accent is so cute!"

"I'd die to have your accent"

I giggle along with them and curl my hair around my finger.

"I think we should introduce ourselves, hi Nova, I'm River. This is Gia and Remi"

"Hi" they both said in unison.

"We'll take you to the office now" River grabbed my arm and linked it with Gia and Remi following as they led me to the office.

"Remi can you see him looking at us?" Gia was whispering very loudly whilst nudging us all.

"Oh my god Mattia and his group are looking at us!" Exclaimed River who must have saw my confused face.

"He's the hottest boy in school Nova but be careful, he's got a crazy ex"

"Oh" I smirked at her, forming an idea in my head. I looked behind me to see a group of around 5 boys all staring at me, River, Gia and Remi and whispering to each other. I'm guessing mattia was the tall one in the centre of the huddle, who was looking me dead in the eyes. I winked at him, smirked and turned back around and began to walk away to the office. Behind me I could hear him and his mates cheering and repeating his name excitedly. What a way to start my morning.
