Stop the wedding

Chapter one

        Marinette never got over her crush on Adrien, it always killed her seeing him with Lila. After all she was her biggest enemy, Lila always lied and cheated her way to the top and Marinette hated her for it. Well hated isn't the word for it, despised is probably more accurate.
      Marinette always secretly hoped that their relationship would fizzle out. She couldn't stand seeing all the new magazines of the two of them. What confused her even more was how his father would even approve of their relationship. It was no secret that the relationship Adrien shared with Lila was not good for the Agreste company. Sales overall were dropping because of the girl and it even started to be publicized.
      Today though, was a nice Sunday morning, Marinette was in her room working on some designs for kitty sections costumes. After Highschool kitty section got a record deal and is almost as famous as Jagged Stone. Marinette was so happy for her friends, she couldn't be more proud to design their outfits for them. Today was not as stressful as others she didn't worry about her job as guardian as much since she got all the miraculous back from hawkmoth and gave them to the monks to fix them back to their original jewelry. On top of that there hasn't been an akuma attack for a few months so being ladybug wasn't so stressful. Her and chat still went on patrol and strategized ways to take down hawkmoth, even if he wasn't akumatizing people right now doesn't mean he's stopped forever. Marinette didn't want to think about that now though, she wanted to focus on her friends.
    Marinette was finishing up the last details on the costumes as her best friend Alya bursts in her room. Marinette jumps out of her chair pricking her self with a needle in the process " Alya!! You can't burst in like that!!" Marinette says annoyed as she picks her self up off the floor.
       " I'm sorry Marinette.. but we need to talk" She said while looking at her best friend with a look that can only be described as remorse. Marinette didn't know what she had to say but she knew it wasn't going to be good.
    " what's wrong Alya?" Marinette asked as she stood up and walked towards her friend a little worried. Alya wasn't good at hiding things from Marinette. She knew this herself, although she hated it at times it brought the two closer.
    "Marinette... it's Adrien and Lila" she spoke as her voice became more timid. Marinette could help but think all different possibilities of what could have happened that made Alya this nervous to talk to her about it.
    "Alya what ever it is it can't be that bad just tell me." She said with confidence. She was hoping Alya was going to say that they had finally broken up. She knew this was probably not true due to her friends demeaned but she couldn't help but think what she would do if it was.
    " Marinette.... They're engaged" she said worried for her friend's reaction. Marinette froze unable to speak, she sat down. She didn't know what to do, her lifelong crush is engaged. Her heart beat was so fast she could hear the beats as they came. She was on the verge of tears when her best friend came down and put a hand on her back to comfort her.
    "Girl this is not the end, you still have a chance. You need to tell Adrien how you feel." alya said while gripping her friend's shoulder tightly. Marinette stands up as she thought about what Alya said.
    "You're right!! I can't keep living like this. If Adrien doesn't live me then fine but I need to find out before he marries Lila....he needs to know how I feel."she says while grabbing her purse.
"What are you going to do?" Alya says confused at the girl in front of her. Alya has never seen her friend  so confident before, it was refreshing actually. She quite liked when Marinette was suddenly taking charge of her life.
    " I'm finally ready Alya... Adrien is about to be married and I have been more in love with him then in Highschool... if I don't tell him now I'll regret it for the rest of my life." She said while going out the door. What Alya didn't know was that Marinette loved Adrien more because of a different reason. She found out he was chat noir senior year of Highschool, she wondered how she hadn't found out sooner given the obvious similarities between the two. After finding out about him she was shocked at first but then fell in love with him more and more. She stopped stuttering and became so comfortable being around him. She was happy they became close after she found out. Adrien didn't know she knew though, but after today she's pretty sure he will.

    Adrien was at home lying on his bed. He was usually doing this due to Lila. He hated being with her but his father made him. Truthfully he never even had feelings for her he just started the relationship because his father told him it would help the company and boost sales, but from the looks of it, it has done the exact opposite. Since being with Lila he has never really had time for friends, she made sure he could never have time for his "little friend group" as she called it. Adrien didn't really care about her opinion though because he loved hanging out with them. After all they were his first true friends. He especially missed Marinette, he didn't know why but he always had a sweet spot for her that he never really wanted to get rid of. It wasn't until senior year that he really got close to her. He saw how amazing of a person she was and yearned to hang out with her more, that was until his father made him date Lila. For some reason after that day Marinette wouldn't even look at him, he never knew why, he assumed it was because of Lila though. Adrien became lost in thought wishing he could just end this dumb relationship he was in. He never expected it to go this far, he never thought in a million years that he would be made to marry this horrible girl. As Adrien was scrolling through his phone Lila walks into the room with an ugly smirk on her face. Adrien looked up at the girl in disgust as she talked about how she wanted to go shopping.
    "Adrien!!! I need all your credit cards and your going shopping with me so get up," she yelled as she walks up to him grabbing his wallet. "I don't have time for you to be lazy!" She said persistently. Lila was the most annoying girl he has ever had the pleasure to meet. He couldn't stand her.
      Just then he received a text from a friend he never expected. He looked at his phone to see the name Marinette come across his screen and looks up at Lila "uhh actually I have a emergency at work but you can take my wallet and go shopping by your self" he said trying to hide the excitement from marinettes text. Lila shrugged and took his wallet and left Adrien in the room by himself. Adrien then looked back at his phone screen and clicked on her message and read it carefully  which wrote " hey Adrien do you think you could meet me at the Eiffel Tower in 15?". He looked down at the message wondering why she wanted to see him but then texted back "of course I'll see u soon" after he sent the message he put his phone in his back pocket and got ready and left.

Marinette was undeniably nervous, she was about to tell the love of her life that she was in love with him. She didn't know exactly what to say but she knew this had to be done. She would never know what would have happened if she never did this. She agreed to her self that she was going to reveal that she knew his secret, I mean it caused her feelings to grow even stronger than before and she felt it was something he should know. After an about 10 mins of her arguing with her self in her brain Adrien arrives at the Eiffel Tower and comes up to her with a huge smile on his face.
   "Marinette it's so good to see you!" He said happily. He didn't want to admit it but since he's seen her last she has gotten even more beautiful than before. Her body became more curvy and she let her hair out of her ponytails and let it flow around her shoulders.
    Marinette looks him in his gorgeous green emerald eyes and says "Adrien.... I need to tell you something.."
