My alarm buzzed for the second time, i opened my eyes lazily and look at the time it's already 8:30am and my appointment at the cafe is at 9:00am i'm going for my NYSC registration, I talked to one of the cyber cafe workers yesterday and he said i should come by 9:00am and i am almost late, so i hurriedly rushed to the toilet, had a quick shower then got dressed in a simple black abaya, i quickly went downstairs, looked for Mami and she's nowhere to be found I was about to go when i spotted her under the gazebo

I told the driver that we're going to Blinkers cyber cafe so we headed to Asokoro, 15mins later we are at Blinkers cafe kwame Nkrumah crescent, I hopped out of the car and went straight to the cafe, i met John one of the cafe workers he is the guy whom i talked to on phone yesterday, he processed everything and the registration was done Alhamdulillah.
I came out of the cafe and the driver is nowhere to be found so i went back into the cafe, i tried calling his number but it ain't going at all and i don't want to disturb Mami because she'll get worried , I lay my head gently on the couch i was sitting on and the thought of Nadeem coming back today cross my heart, i desperately wants to see Najash and Baba because i know Baba will be so happy to see me after good seven years though it was not complete seven years because we met at our graduation because they all came for Najash, To me that day was unforgettable that was the first day i stand up for myself in front of Nadeem he insulted me so badly accused me of indecent dressing i also fired back called him an ignorant arrogant fool and so many sorts of insults, that day my heart was filled with happiness i slept smiling like a fool it was the first day i insulted him to my heart content that was how i left him standing like a dollop head it was my last encounter with him it's the sole reason why i don't want to see him this time around i am certainly sure that my encounter with him will not be good this time around.
My phone rang which drew me out of my thoughts i looked for it inside my bag and it's nowhere to be found there, i spotted it right beside me it was Ahmad who called i missed two of Mami's and his calls i was so lost in thoughts that i couldn't hear the phone ringing, he call again this time FaceTime video and i answered gently with a salaam and his cute annoying face shows up Ahmad: Good morning mi lady "bowing his head "
Nabilah: Morning how you? Hope you good?
Ahmad: Not until now, seeing your face is enough to keep my day bright.
Nabilah: May Allah have mercy on you, i looked up and saw him smiling like an idiot, i smiled widely and used my veil to cover my face, he raised his brow playfully and it makes him look so cute that is when i saw the cuteness in him
Ahmad: Hey baby why are staring at me this way are you already in love, you know me being the most handsome gentleman in my family and office will make you fall for me in the next three weeks i promise you baby
