Mystery Woman

My name is Gemma. I worked at a shop near a graveyard. It was spooky at first, but I did get used to it. Eventually. One time, there was a woman in black. A woman who looked like she had been to a funeral, however with us being so close to the church, it didn't seem out of place. Well, not at first. One my colleagues was chatting with her. She seemed fairly normal, or as normal as you'd expect from someone who may have recently lost someone. When we left her, she just walked behind the shop, to the store room like she owned the place. "Gemma! Gemma, that woman's wandered into the store room. Get her out." Ordered our manager. "Yep, on my way." I said to myself.

As I went into the store room, I was shouting out to the peculiar woman. Perhaps she is mourning her loss, but that doesn't mean that she can just go wherever she likes. I took myself round to where the fire exit is, despite the fact that there was no way anyone could exit there. This is where it got strange. An old out of bounds staircase, which was locked up tightly and no one had any key for it, was flung open. Now, not only was there no possible way that anyone could've gone through there; but to add to that, the staircase to the old fire exit has been broken. So that implied that even if she had gone through there, she had no where to go. Hence I was freaking out.

I then later told my colleagues about this frightful event. They suggested that we were to check the CCTV cameras in the storage room. When we checked them, it looked as if there was never even a woman there. No one. We were talking to no one. But we were. Everyone saw her. But she isn't on the CCTV. And the fire exit door was open. Who was this woman? Was she real? How did the door open? Was it a ghost? We kept wondering this. Unanswered questions for the rest of our lives.
