~The Time That She Lost~

"You know Em one day your curiosity is gonna get you in deep shit" Scott commented. I rolled my eyes.

~Emily's p.o.v ended

Emily was amazed to see Sam loving this much. For her, he was not the love kind of guy. Still somewhere she unknowingly knew this was coming. She shook away her thoughts. She called Scott who have was now in the kitchen and walked there.

"Scott I" Emily was cut off.

"I won't tell him promise" Scott said guessing she was gonna ask him for that.

"Ohh yaa yaa I know that" Emily shrugged her shoulder as if this was obvious.

"Then?" Scott now confused.

"I came here because I had a thought, I planned a movie night with you guys and off course Amber and Tyler too" Emily told him having another motive.

"I won't take no for an answer okay bye" Emily cheerfully said and walked out of the kitchen and then to the main door. Scott behind her was saying that he will have to check whether he have work or not.

Emily's couldn't get out the thought of Sam being in love with someone. She wished she could read the whole thing. It was hard for her to imagine a guy like Sam having this emotion. Emily reached her house. Standing in the porch she remembered how Sam have kissed her. She had this pinning sensation when she thought of the kiss even though his lips were the most soft thing, she ignored that part. She now thought of how she is gonna put him in place for doing that. She entered the house and decided to do all the needful stuff. It was amazing for her to think it in her head. She hated him at the same time she liked him. It was a new feeling for her. She loves his company but yet she now thinks he is not a good company.

Confusing huh?

Emily was getting impatient and was continuously walking around in her room. She was in a bit of confusion, she wasn't sure whether she should go ahead with what she has planned to do or she should just leave it. She haven't have so much going on in her life for a long time. Her days went by as simply as it could, getting up, morning routines, work, food and family time. There has been no action since she broke up with her last boyfriend. She was excited as if she was enjoying this rivalry. She was finally having something excited to go on with. As she is not used to these stuff therefore she was not sure she should go through it. Ali was noticing her for a long time. As no one knew what was Emily upto. Ali come into Emily's room with two cups of coffee. She kept the coffee mugs on the center table. Emily was standing near the window and was in her deep thoughts.

"Sit down" Ali said pointing towards the bed.

Emily in her thoughts didn't heard her.

"Emily sit down" Ali said again.

"Huh? What?" Emily asked her coming out of her thoughts.

"Well a dog bit me, take me to the hospital" Ali said sarcastically.

"Huh?" Emily said all confused and unable to process.

Ali giggled.

"Come here kid" Ali said with a smile on her face. She sat down on the bed and tapped the bed.

Emily walked towards her bed and sat down next to Ali. She was still confused and started checking her hands and asking where did the dog bit her.

Ali again giggled.

"Kid..kid relax no one bit me. I was kidding. What is going on with you?" Ali took hold of her hand and kept Emily's hand on her lap.

"Ma why would you say something like that?" Ali said

"Well I told you to sit down many times but you didn't listen and when you heard me then I just got an urge to say something fun" Ali said with puppy eyes.

"Ha ha maa you are so funny" Emily said with a eye roll.

"Don't eye roll me" Ali said.

"Okay okay tell me what happened? Emily asked.

"Darling why were you pacing around the room? What happened? You know you can tell me anything" Ali asked a little concerned.

"I can tell you anything right?" Emily asked.

"Umm hmm" Ali said not so confident. Not sure what she is gonna tell.

"Wow but anyways well don't freak out and first let me finish okay" Emily said. She took hold of Ali's hand.

"Okay" Ali said confused, well actually scared.

"So in the morning Sam came here and we were talking and suddenly okay now listen don't freak out okay" Emily told her. Ali shook here head and crossed her legs.

"Well mom well he umm kissed me" Emily said very quickly.

Ali was shocked. She sat quietly.

Emily waited patiently for her to react. She got up and walked to the window.

"So.." Emily said.

"So now I want to take revenge, hence the movie night" Emily explained.

Ali didn't react.

"Well I am hoping you would help me and off course others too, well you don't have to do anything just... well you'll know when the time comes" Emily explained.

"Drink your coffee" Ali finally said and took a sip form her own cup.

Emily did what she told her to. Emily thought it's best to shut up and listen.

"And yes off course I am gonna help" Ali said with a smile on her face.

After saying it Ali got up and started walking out the room. Emily felt weird that she actually didn't react on the kiss part.

"Well aren't you gonna say anything about Sam?" Emily asked with her both eyebrows up.

"Ohh yes I am very angry with that kid, how dare he? " Ali said not at all sounding angry or upset.

"Huh that was convincing" Emily said not believing her.

"No no I am gonna give him tough time" Ali said almost sounded like she was making a joke.

"Whatever" Emily said giving up.

Ali turned around and walked out of the room.

Emily took another sip of her coffee. It was cold now so she got up to heat up the coffee and was about to walk out of the room when....

"Finally yepiii" Ali shouted. Excited.

Emily walked out of the room quickly with confusion and a small smile on her face. Ali shyly can out of the room and looked at Emily with a puppy face.

"Well you want to tell me or I should asume my mother is just just aged" Emily said.

"Hey I am not that old but anyways I finally finished my level" Ali explained.

"How did you complete it in a minute? You were just here with me." Emily asked.

"Don't underestimate power of a old lady" Ali said funnily.

"You have aged finally we have established that" Emily said almost laughing.
