mini backstory

Kyle is a Junior in highschool, having little to no experience with relationships that goes anything past small kisses and affections. He also has more experience with women and more confidence when it comes to being to them in a romantic way. For men he isn't the best at expressing his affections for them without making it into a joke or 'playing it off', treating them more as if they're just friends even if he is interested in them. He always just becomes a nervous wreck (whether he shows it or not) when being intimate with men.

Kyle has dark brown hair naturally, but he dyes it regularly and has had almost all the colors possible. It is currently jet black and you can see a small part of his roots, which is only that color due to Leah thinking it would 'suit his personality more'. A joke that he didn't get until after it was dyed. He wears neutral or dark tones of clothing, the most color would be anything brown or even white. He enjoys brighter clothes, but just doesn't think it is something that looks good on him. Leah does try to push him out of his comfort zone to wear more colorful clothes.

He has known Leah since he was a sophomore. During Leah's first year they bumped into each other trying to get to their classes. It ended up being Kyle taking Leah to her class and then showing her around for the rest of the day since she didn't know her way around and didn't seem to want to leave his side.

THURSDAY 6;09 pm

"Kyle, we need to talk."

That's Leah, who Kyle assumes has a terrible plan for this week yet again. She's always trying to do whatever she can to be apart or make a group of friends from her drama clubs or whatever she was doing for the month. It was always like this since Kyle had met her and he's amazed that she has stuck with him for this long and hasn't ditched him for someone else. Maybe it was because he was the only person that was willing to stay at her side 24/7 like she wants.

"What is it?"

"So my parents are going out this weekend, some date night or whatever, and they're going to be gone for the whole weekend. Which means I think we should have a mixed sleepover. Boys and girls!"

"That's a disaster waiting to happen," He said, chuckling to himself. It was the truth though. He could only assume that they would be in the living room since Leah's room wasn't big enough to have a lot of people to sleep in.

"Yea, well it makes it interesting and before you say anything I already invited a group of people to come over. It'll be a little sleepover for us to get to know some people." Leah definitely said that with the intention of getting Kyle a girlfriend. She never really saw Kyle with someone before, other than the few mentions of possibly talking to someone new."Why can't it just be a party like last time?" "Because a party seems so lame." Of course it's lame to her now.

"Yea ? Like who ?"

"Tallulah."

There was so much confidence in Leah's answer that it threw him back a bit. Kyle had barely ever interacted with her other than small 'hellos' when Kyle picked Leah up from her clubs or the one time at Leah's party from a few months ago. He actually talked to her for the first time a little bit and just let her vent out her frustrations on being called a 'Blowjob Machine'. Kyle had mentioned this to Leah, so she probably assumed that there was more to the situation than Kyle was letting up on.

"Ooh yeah, you'll definitely get to know her alright." And there's Maury, Kyle's hormone monster. "This party could be where you finally become a real man! I'm so proud," He said as he pretended to tear up. The dark haired male scoffed and told him to shut up. He really was not in the mood to deal with whatever Maury is up to. He isn't interested in losing his virginity and he definitely isn't interested in losing it at a party in a bathroom probably.
