Short program

Chapter 1

She was at the rink, where she spends most of her time. Losing her self in her jumps. She had only just started skating about 6 months ago but she could already do a waltz and single flip. Lexi had just failed her layback when a tall brown haired boy crashed into her. Her best friend. Kai, she has known him since they were 10.
" oh sorry lex didn't see you there"

"Yeah right Kai, you made me fall on my layback you idiot!"

"Sorry lex..."

After 2 more hours of successful training ( if you could call it that Kai crashed into her at least 3 more times) she when home, showered and got changed to go to the cinema with Kai. One of there most sacred traditions, but this time it felt different.

She headed out, Kai was already at her door and her mom knew to trust where she was going if Kai's car was there. The went to the cinema and watched stand by me, Lexus favorite film. Whilst watching it Kai put his hand over lexis, he had never done it before but Lexi didn't feel uncomfortable by it. When the film had finished they went to kai's house.
"Here we are"

"Yea Kai I can tell I practically live here on competition week"

"I know lex, you just seem different."

She felt something more that what she used to, something she couldn't ignore between her and Kai. Him holding her hand in the cinema felt more than just between friends. But she wanted them to stay like that she had known him for 6 years from when they were 10 to now, when they are 16.

They walked into kai's house and into his room. His room was messy but no too bad, the walls covers in figure skating and video game posters. Lexi sat on his bad and Kai on his sofa.

Kai's pov

She was so pretty and I hope she likes me too. I've liked her for about a year now but I've been to scared to tell her. She's beautiful on the ice and I can't wait to see her new program. I'm scared but I have to do it. I'm going to ask her out. To be my girlfriend.
"You ok over there k?,you seem a bit out of it"

"Yea I'm fine lex, I'm just a bit scared that's all..."

"Oh why are you scared? Who do I need to kill?"

"Hahahaha no one lex, it's just I like you and I have for a long time. So what I want to say is... do you want to go out with me?"

Lexi's pov

Did he just? No he didn't. Ok he did. To be honest when I first met him I did like him. I mean look at him. Brown hair, dark green eyes, jaw line, amazing figure skater, tall (a big bonus point) and above all he's kind. Those feeling were sill there especially after that incident in the cinema. So I did it.
"Yea."

"Really? Oh my gosh I didn't think you would say yes!"

Ok so that was my first ever chapter of short program I'm so sorry this chapter is so short it's because this is my first ever story!
