Maybe she didn't know what she's done,
She doesn't understand why other people are cruel
She won't let other people be cruel to her
The bell rings, the end of school, Halloween day,
She walks down the stairway, books in hand
She feels multiple hands shove her down the stairs,
She falls on the concrete, books everywhere, drawings everywhere
She tries to stand up, but is afraid
Afraid of what's about to happen
She feels something hot run down the side of her head,
Blood falls to the floor, then a ping of pain,
A headache, she gets up and gets knocked back down
Sides are now burning with pain, she can't breathe
She grabs what's been stuck in her pocket,
Before she knows it, the crowd stands in shock
They can't believe their eyes, more blood splatters to the concrete floor
And then more and more blood falls to the floor,
She looks up with heavy breaths, the crowd is not there anymore
There were no more footsteps,
No more bullying
No more cruelty
Only blood
She runs into an empty field,
Heart rushing, hands shaking
She laughs, eyes wide, smiling with happiness
She doesn't feel any sadness, only freedom and happiness
She continues her life, doing the same thing over and over again
Blood falls more and more each day as the word of caution spreads
Into the streets, she becomes wanted
Wanted by police, wanted by the town
She lives in her own world now,
"Nothing is wrong, I didn't do anything wrong", she says
"No one will know the truth", she tells her prisoner
The next day, she realizes that her prisoner tries to escape
Now, the prisoner is no where to be seen,
The only thing left is her, her bloody knife, and blood everywhere
