Bethany Pov
I was running as hard as I could. They were right behind me. My legs were burning. They started to slow down. I still need to get home.
* Flashback*
" Do your the ones who killed my dad?" I asked
" Yeah" The tall man said his voice harsh
" Why? Why did you take my father away from me?" I asked getting mad
" He was just another person in our world. He meant nothing to anyone" he spat
" oh really" I said pissed off.
I stood up and punched him in the face. He had blood coming down from his lip. He wiped his lip and looked at his hand pissed. He looked back at me.
" Do That again and your end up like your father. In a graveyard." He said
* end of flashback*
I ran into my house and up to my room. They were right behind me. And they just disappear? That is not right.
" Bethany there are two nice men here to see you" my mom yelled.
I looked downstairs. It's the men no no no no. I quickly needed to think of a way to get out of this. Then I see it. A toothbrush.
I don't want to do this but you know I have to do it to keep myself from being killed. I quickly gag myself with it till I throw up. It all came out after what had felt like minutes.
" Hunny are you ok in there" my mom yelled as she was running up the stairs.
" NO" I screamed.
I got up and locked the door. I didn't want my mom to know.
" Hunny open the door up" my mom yelled from the other side of the door.
" Make me" I yelled
" I'm sorry sir but can you please leave." My mom told the men.
I unlocked the door as soon as I herd the door shut. My mom came running in.
" Oh my god" my mom said while almost fainting.
" See this is why I didn't want you coming in" I said while laughing.
I started to walk away when the men popped out of no were. I hear a cruel laugh behind me. I turn around and it's coming from my mother.
" You really thought that I loved your dad. I'm the one who killed him." She said in a voice I had never herd.
" What?" I asked
" You have been going at this for years. You never once thought oh maybe my mom did it. Well I have been just letting for waist you time looking for the man who kill him for six years now Bethany." My mom screamed in my face.
" What! The! Fuck! I am going to murder you" I screamed.
" I'd like to see you try" my mom snarled at me.
I went to go punch he but I hit nothing. She dogged it. My mother dogged my punch. I am that slow or is she that fast.
" Get your ass out of my house" she snarled.
I ran to my room and packed my stuff. I know were to go because her family loves me and I am her best friend. Ellas.
I got to her house she was in her room reading a book. I slammed my stuff on the ground.
" Looks like you will be staying a long time. Did you and your mom get into a fight?" Ella asked not looking up from her book.
" yes" I lied.
" Well we are having pizza for dinner." She said finally looking up from her book.
