Fairies were the first creatures on our planet Earth. They were the ones to decorate our world with trees, grass, flowers, and water. They live for such a long time, and still exist now.
There used to be thousands of them; however, there was a time when their population decreased by a huge amount. It was the day when dinosaurs were born into the world. Everyone lost their family, friends, relatives, and homes. There was great destruction caused by them. They bit the trees with their huge, sharp, teeth, and stepped on everything in their way to getting their food.
One day, everything changed. A giant meteor dropped down, and onto the planet. Most dinosaurs died as a result. However, they weren't the only ones to die; a lot of fairies died too. Still some survived, but were injured or sick.
Everything fell silent, and there were only a few dozens of the creatures left. The planet became completely flat; no trees, no flowers, no beauty. The world fell into darkness, and there seemed no way of bringing things back to how they used to be.
Millions of years passed by, and the plants were starting to grow again. The survivors didn't give up, and kept on trying to make Earth like how it used to be before.
It was only a few million years after that when our earliest human ancestors came into the world. They were kind and friendly at the start. The fairies started teaching them how to do things like how to plant flowers and trees. But as years went by, the humans started to torture the fairies. They were trapping them and hunting them down. The fairies kept on hiding and hiding, and the humans soon stopped speaking about them, and it's now known as a myth.
That's where the story begins.
