Section One: Robert the Rainbow Pig

Robert awoke with a start and stared around the room with a dazed look.  On his perch on the book case he remembered that he was no longer in immediate danger.  He relaxed a little bit but still felt that he was being watched.  Robert was in no mood to return to the nightmares that certainly would come in his sleep, so he remained awake.

In the early darkness he took in the view of his new owner’s room.  Being only six inches tall it was a refreshing change to be able to look down on things instead of up.  The contents of his owner’s room were scattered around the carpet and piled up on the desk.  This was disconcerting to Robert because it supplied many places for potential enemy’s to attack.

The lump on the bed shifted and Robert froze mid thought and in his mind began to panic. Has she found me?  If that is her than what will she do to me?  Robert looked franticly around the bedroom for a safe place to hind.  Of course hiding would mean jumping off the book case.

“Dude chillax it is just Olivia turning in her sleep.”  Squishy said with an annoyed look.

Robert ignored the fish still wondering about the slight possibility that she had found him. The lump moved again and muttered something about yellow lizards and metaphors before returning to its original position.  Still Robert refused to think that the fish was right.

“Still think I’m wrong huh?” Squishy inquired.

“How did you know what I was thinking?” Robert was now worried more about the fish’s uncanny ability to read his mind than that the chance that someone other than Olivia may be hiding in the dark corners of the room.

However before Squishy could answer, he fell back into an uncontrollable dazed sleep.

Section Two: Robertio the Great

Robertio awoke to the sound of train wheels running over tracks.  Robertio remembered that he and his fellow circus animals were on their way from Kansas City, Missouri, to Kansas City, Kansas.  Robertio found it somewhat strange that it took two hours to get to where he already was.

The four other trapeze pigs had yet to awake and Robertio found himself impatiently walking around the small train car.  As he paced he mind wandered back to the same topic of why he did not have his own act in the show and why no big Broadway producer had been smart enough to see past their long snouts.

Robertio’s one and only dream was to be the world’s most famous pig of all time.  He was in no way intimidated by the long time famous Wilbur or Babe, soon he would be the only pig known to the entire world.  He also was the only pig that was not totally pink naturally so it should have been easy to get some recognition.

“The only pig known to the entire world huh?” said Maya in a mocking tone.

“He is out of his mind… Again!” said Kablamo, “First “Squishy was right they didn’t come for me” mumble in  your sleep like a crazy person, now you are completely delusional thinking that you might even get your own act.  If anyone deserves an act it is me, Kablamo!”
