so, as of writing (but probably not publishing), it's the fifteenth of november twenty nineteen. that probably means nothing to you, but it means a lot to me. this means that, exactly two years ago today, i started working on this book trilogy.
two years ago today, eleven-year-old me was walking home after a year seven maths lesson and thinking 'huh, wouldn't it be neat if i made a character for every letter of the alphabet and then gave them magic? lmao' without knowing that this terrible, terrible idea would literally consume my life for the foreseeable future.
that's a bit weird to think about, really.
anyway, four drafts, like three name changes, two years and one complete plot rework in the making, i present to you;

just to clarify a few things before we start; from chapter one onwards the narration is from the pov of an in-universe narrator, not from me. you can safely assume all characters are at least a bit bisexual unless said otherwise because i write what i know and i know the g a y. anyway.
