Leo Greyson stood in his room, frost drifting around his hands, the small boy trying to make it solid ice. Leo squeezed his hands, causing the frost to slowly pack together to create solid ice. Sadly that ice melted easily. He had to keep trying. Leo squeezed his hands tighter, the ice appearing again but was getting more packed. The tighter the ice was packed the harder it's been to melt, correct? The dark haired kid kept trying, his room grew colder the more he tried to pack the ice. Leo smirked once the ice was so tightly packed it wouldn't melt.
"PAPA!!!" Leo yelled from his room, sprinting out the room door.
"Leo? Is something wrong??" Ian asked worriedly.
"PAPA I MADE ICE!!!!" Leo shouted.
Leo held up the ice to show Ian. Ian smiled softly and ruffed Leo's hair.
"Great job Leo!!" Ian smiles softly.

That was a little over 5 years ago. Things were different now. After the labs were destroyed, people with unexplainable powers appeared due to a mix of those lab rats but also the lab rats having kids. One being Leo who was born before the labs were destroyed. After that people were confused, some of these lab rats used their powers to harm others, others to save people, and some hide away all together. While I wouldn't consider my father a villain, everyone else supposed he was. Including my uncle. I, Leo Greyson, May only be 15 but I know how to control these gifted powers I have received from my dad. My dad recently was injured in a huge battle against my uncle. Fire and Ice never did go together so well. It hurt me for the fact I looked so much like the man who hurt my father. I would never forgive Eli for anything he did. He was a superhero to the public but a villain in my eyes. Honestly it was all about perception on what you'd think. Someone could look at my dad and say villain. But I'd say hero. My dad just wanted everyone to be happy, everyone to think of each other as equals, even though that might not have been the case. Eli, my uncle, used powerful fire to stop "evil doers". I never liked any of that much. I never wanted to join this whole super hero villain roleplay that went around. That's all I thought of it. A joke. But now I see it clearly. How come Hero's could go around and hurt people and be fine but when "villains" do such a thing they were in trouble. That's was just so.... so stupid!
Sorry, I'm talking too much huh? How about I give a better basis of how this world is Huh? Well, in my world, the thing about powers are slowly spreading but not everyone has it. Roughly 20% of the American Population has powers since the destruction of labs. Not to mention other countries. Considering the rest of the world, roughly 35% of the human population has powers. Yes, most in America. I'm not sure why, maybe because the government hid it so well? Not sure. Anyways, after the destruction a lot of tries with powers started illegal actions, such as stealing, killing, but also a strange practice taht was started, human stealing powered genes. The normals saw the powers and wanted them for themselves so they'd kidnap those with powers and take the blood from those with powers and inject it into themselves. There were also people with powers marrying and having kids with those without powers allowing their children to have powers without the blind eye or scars the originals had. Like me, My dad was an "original" as people call them. I was born without the marking but I have my own powers. The world is still learning how to control the powers and all. But with all these problems came a new job, payed by the government. Superheroes. While heroes got payed for their actions and being popular, the government had to know their identities and everything in order to pay them. It was simply amazing. Ever since they appeared I thought of my dad as a hero, until the day the news showed him as a villain.
I disagreed with everyone.
Ian was my Hero.
My dad.
The most important person to me.
Superheroes could fuck themselves, they were all fakes. All of them. They just did it for pay. My dad did what he did to make the world right.
Fuck.
Fuck.
Sorry. Back to the story huh?
Well, how about we talk about me now since this is mostly about me. Remember my name? It's Leo.
Leo Greyson. Technically people say I have frost magic but that's not true. I just didn't know how to control the frost to make ice. But I'm much stronger than my dad honestly. Don't think so? Well how about I show you.
Let's go!
