nerd // luke hemmings [editing]

"Uh.. December 14th. Whyyy?" I ask slowly, curious why he was asking such a random question.

"Oh, nothing." he grins. Well, obviously not nothing. I roll my eyes and quickly leans in to kiss my forehead, thank god no one was looking because I would have been as red as a tomato now.

He leaves the classroom and comes back after five minutes later, slumping back on the chair next to me with the cutest smile on his face.

"Addie, hey! Long time no see, little sis!" Michael says, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.

"Big bro! I know right? Five days is just so soooo long." I say sarcastically.

Ashton comes, nudging my shoulder with his elbow and wiggling his eyebrows. I blush and I roll my eyes at him and ruffle his wild curls which were held back with a red bandana around his forehead.

"Oi! Don't touch the hair dude!" he laughs, showing off his very visible dimples. DIMPLES!

Calum comes out from the kitchen with a mouth stuffed with who knows what. Naty waves frantically at her idol and he waves back, just as enthusiastically. "So, you and Hemmings aye?" he wiggles his eyebrows just like Ashton and I can help at laugh at my friends.

"Yup." I say popping the 'p'.

They erupt into a chorus of claps and 'awww's which make me blush even more

Luke comes in with a box of cookies, munching on one and we sit beside each other on the carpeted floor.

"I want to watch a movie today! Watch do you guys think?" Michael says and the rest of us nod and start deciding what to watch. We end up choosing 50 First Dates because of Naty rambling on about how awesome the movie is, but they allowed her to watch it probably because the guys didn't want to hear any more of her rambling, so they decided to go for it. Luke groaned, since it was breaking his 'no chick flicks' rule.

The movie started as the introduction played. Luke put his arm around my shoulders and I nuzzled my head in the crook of his neck, smiling at his sweet smell of mint, detergent, and cologne and we stay like that for the rest of the movie.

When the movie ended, the boys cheered.

"Okay, video game time!!" Mikey yells and the boys cheer even louder.

"Aww I want to watch another one!" Naty complains.

"If it's another romantic comedy, then no-can-do!" Michael says, shrugging as Naty pouts.

"Oh oh, lukey!!" I jump like a little girl.

He laughs and kisses the tip of my nose sending the butterflies in my stomach fluttering everywhere. "What is it, princess?" he smirks.

"PDA, YOU GUYS! GET A ROOM!" Calum shrieks. Luke gives him a middle finger and Calum shrugs.

"You promised you would sing to me.." I say.

"Oh yeah, sure. Come with me then." he lifts me up and effortlessly and puts me on his shoulder. aren't I heavy? Well, apparently, not to luke, I wasn't.

"LUKE ROBERT HEMMINGS, PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!"

"No!" he grins as he climbs up the stairs.

"Good, FINALLY they're getting a room." I hear Ashton chuckle as we go up the stairs to the second floor.

"I HEARD THAT ASHTON!" I shout and I hear laughs from the living room.

"Have fun guys!" Naty calls out and I roll my eyes.

We get in his blue room and he drops me on the bed and I squeal as I fall from his shoulder.

I get up and stick my tongue out at him. I point at his wooden acoustic guitar. "Sing something pleaaase." I pout.

He rolls his eyes and grabs the guitar from the stand.

"Soo..." he runs a hand through his blonde hair.

"Aww is wittle lukey-poo shy?" I pout and he blushes. "Come on luke, you've played in front of millions of girls. What makes me so different?"

"Well, you're special and you're not like all those other girls." he says all serious and smirks, sending me blushing. Cheesy Lucas...

"Oh shush. Now sing me um... Amnesia!" I jump. "Just sing all of Calum's parts too," I laugh.

He breathes in and starts playing and singing.

'I drove by all the places we used to hang out getting wasted.

I thought about our last kiss, how it felt, the way you tasted.

And even though your friends tell me you're doing fine,

Are you somewhere feeling lonely even though he's right beside you?

When he says those words that hurt you do you read the ones I wrote you?'

The sings so beautifully that it makes me wanna cry. This boy is so talented, like seriously. He starts to sing the chorus and I smile.

'I remember the day you told me you were leaving,

I remember the make up running down your face

And dreams you left behind, you didn't need them.

Like every single wish we ever made.'

He sings the rest of the chorus and stops.

"Luke, that was amazing! I love your voice so much." I smile.

"Thanks princess." he chuckles.

I laugh at the name his just called me. "No problem." I giggle.

"Love youuuu." he says like a little kid, but with a smirk on his face.

"I love you too, lukey." I say, and I know that I'm not lying.
