STEP to the beat of my heart - chapter 6

6:15am: *BUZZZZZZ* I wake up to the sound of my alarm. You know those days where there's nothing is wrong but you just want to pretend your sick so you can stay home instead of going to school. I had the most amazing dream last night, I dreamt that me and Christian went to a Bon fire party at the beach with his friends and we sung songs, and me and Christian kissed about five times. I then looked over to my bench top to see the shell from my dreams. Wait so that means that I wasn't dreaming and me and Christian did kiss and we ARE going out. Oh my gosh last night was the best night of my life so far.

I got out of bed and went into the bathroom to have a shower to wake myself up. Ten minutes later I'm out of the shower and dressed. Now I just have to try and find my hair straightener and style me hair. Another ten minutes later I walked down the stairs and went into the kitchen to have breakfast.

"Hi Will, where's mum?"

"she's still asleep she said not to wake her cos she doesn't feel well and that you have to get me breakfast." great so mum stole my idea oh we'll she can have it now because I now have an even better reason to go to school. I open the pantry door and to my amazement there is food in here, food you can actually eat and I'm not talking about dried fruit. I get out the fruit loops and pour some into a bowl for Will. I was gonna be late for the bus so I had to disagree with my stomach and skip breakfast.

"I've got to go now will you be ok?"

"yep"

"ok I'll cya after school" I walk down the hallway and stand at the door to put on my shoes.

"mum I'm leaving now bye!!" I carefully yell out to mum

"have you got Will his breakfast?"

"yes"

"ok bye honey have fun". I finally get out of the house and start walking to my bus stop.

The bus pulls into the drop off area out the front of school. When I get off I see Christian leaning on the entry gate with one foot on the poll and his bag over one shoulder. As soon as he saw me he got up a starts walking over towards me.

"Hey"

"hey" Christian greets me with a nice long hug. We then walk into school together while Christian holds my hand.

"I've just gotta go see a friend I'll be right back"

"ok" Christian than jogs off to say hi to Tyrone from last night which I had no clue he came here. I then feel my phone vibrate in my pocket-

'I will see you in 3....2....1....hi there!!!! :)' Gabby

As soon as I go to read the last part of the message Gabby comes up from behind me and says 'hi there' which is exactly what I was gonna read. Smart girl.

"hey where's Lucy?" I ask with a puzzled look on my face

"she's not coming till lunch time she has a doctors appointment"

"oh ok"

"she told me to give you this, do you know how hard it is for me not read that. Very hard cos Lucy said for me not read it" Gabby then hands me a piece of paper-

'hey Sammie,

I won't be at school during the first half of the day because I have a doctors appointment, I have to get a blood test done I ABSOLUTELY HATE NEEDLES!!! Anyway I will see you at lunch we can work on our dance then.

P.s. I bet this is making Gabby go crazy because she can't read it'

And she was right, Gabby is going crazy over it.

"hey what were you doing last night I was trying to reach you on Skype, hotmail, gmail, messenger, iMessage, instamessage and Facebook." she looked exhausted from saying that, her face has started to turn red. Christian than comes back and grabs my hand again.

"sorry I just needed to talk to tyrone about something." I think gabby might had of realized that me and Christian were holding hands.

"oohhhhh ok I forgive you now for not replying my messages." the bell rings and everyone starts walking to class. Christian and I walked to my bag rack together with his arm around my neck.

"what have you got first?" I asked Christian

"umm...I think it's SOSE with Mr Bunn or something like that" oh my god I knew that today was gonna be good. We get to be in the same class.

"oh my god your in my class!!!" we then look at each other and smile. We get to the door of the classroom and entered. When we entered everybody stared at Christian. The girls were daydreaming and drooling over him...great.

"Hi you must be Christian, I'm Mr Bunn how are you?" mr Bunn is the kindest and best teacher ever. He doesn't care what you do you can talk to people during class he's not strict at all...unless your cheating of course. Mr Bunn puts out his hand and shakes hands with Christian.

"I see you've met Samantha, she a great person"

"I bet she is" Christian turned to look at me and smiled. Great now I'm blushing in front of everyone.

"you's can sit together down the back" he points to the two remaining seats down the back of the class. We walk down to the back of the room and sit together. Then Mr Bunn starts to teach.

"ok students this term we are going to be learning about South Sea Islanders or Kanaka's..."

Forty minutes later and class is finished. We walk out of the room to got to lunch.

"Christian can I please talk to you for a second about your textbooks"

"I'll meet you outside" Christian says to me so I start walking out of the classroom. While I was waiting for Christian to finish talking to Mr Bunn I felt somebody tap of my shoulda, it was Christina. Christina is a nice person, well most of the time. Some times she can be really stuck up and only care about herself.

"hi Sammie how was your holidays?" she asked me this in a nice voice but I could feel that there was a hook to this conversation.

"oh we'll I had heaps of fun went to the beach and shopp-" I started to answer her question when she cut in with her stuck up mean attitude.

"yerr I don't really care. Could you please introduce me to your friend Christian I think we'de make a great couple." and there's the hook.

"wait so you want me to introduce you to my 'friend'" emphasis on friend.

"yes I wa-" she starts to talk but Christian comes up from behind me and puts his ars around my waist and gently kisses me on the cheek.

"oh so you guys are a thing?" Christina asks us

"yes we are" Christian tells Christina. He then takes my hand and we walk away.
