Everyone lives the same life. Dull, colorless, depressing. Until you find your Spark, that is. Stories of the Spark have been passed on for generations, tales of when one's eyes meet those of a certain person, life completely changes. The world is suddenly filled with color and your life is shared with another's.

Sitting in class, I let myself doze off as the professor began going over some beginning-of-the-year announcements. My boredom had been slowly growing since I got here and I can't fight the tiredness falling upon me any longer. Sleep last night was almost nonexistent. I stayed up all night trying to choreograph for my next piece and didn't even think about having to start my third year of college the next morning. Julian had tried to get me to go to sleep, trying to convince me I could just finish it later and that it wasn't gonna be a big deal. Obviously, I didn't listen, which was a big mistake. Ugh I hate how he's always right. And he'd been making sure I knew that throughout the entire announcement.
As my eyes slowly began to close, I was interrupted by the loud thud of the heavy classroom door. Groggily looking over to the culprit, I saw a frantic looking, hazel-eyed angel rushing into the room. Blinking the exhaustion from my eyes I finally noticed who it was-

Wait wait wait. Let me tell you a little about myself before we continue.

Unlike others, I don't sit around all day waiting for some random person to waltz into my life and make everything better. I gave up on that fairytale a while ago. Hi, I'm Sean Lew, 20 years old, future owner of the SLA studio, hopefully. You see, my life basically revolves around anything dance. Some would say I'm obsessed, but those close to me think it's good for me. Most people stay away from me because I'm kinda distant, except for one person. My best (and pretty much only) friend, Julian DeGuzman. He's almost as "obsessed" with dance as I am, but recently, other things have been on his mind. All he talks about is the Spark and when he will find his. It was fine at first, until he started to dwell on me and when I will find my Spark. He thinks it'll cheer me up some since the... incident when I was younger. Anyways, I have kinda noticed one girl, Kaycee I think it is, but I would never tell Jules that. He would probably run to her on the spot and introduce us to see if we would spark or not.

Welp anyways, let's get back to the story.

"Rice, would you mind telling us what was more important then being in my class on time?" Professor Chung asks loudly so everyone could hear.
"I'm sorry. My alarm didn't go off and I rushed here as fast as I could. I live 15 minutes away and with traffic that makes it 30." She defends, apologizing.
"Ok enough of your excuses go sit down. You're lucky I'm not marking attendance today."
Nodding politely, she quickly hurries to sit down, taking the closest available seat.
As she takes a seat closely in front of mine, I can't help but admire her beauty. I just can't take my eyes off of her. The way her soft curls cascade down her back and over her shoulders, framing her angelic face perfectly. Her forest-like eyes and how the passion they hold shines so bright when doing something she loves. For example, drawing. I've seen her draw a few times last school year and I can tell how much she enjoys it. Her eyes show it all. And not to mention how unknowingly sexy she can be at times. The way she softly bites her lip when she's really focused on something. The way her hips sway lightly when she walks confidently out of the classroom after a test. It's like she has a hold on me, and we don't even know each other. I don't think she knows how beautiful she truly is. I sigh, continuing staring at her intoxicating appearance, examining her soft features.
"Lew would you mind paying attention instead of swooning over Miss Rice over there?" Mr. Chung shouts, snapping me from my intense daze and clearing my head of all impure thoughts. My cheeks flushed a bright pink, causing me to look down and tap my pencil on the desk anxiously.
"Sorry, sir." I cleared my throat, not daring to look up. Ignoring my apology, he turned back to the board and continued talking. I sighed a breath of relief that I didn't realize I was holding and looked to my right. Smirking, was a Julian DeGuzman getting ready to tease me about what had just happened.
Damnit. This is exactly what I didn't want.
"I see you Lew. Staring at Miss Rice over there huh?" He said, the smirk never leaving his face.
"Just leave it alone Jules. Please." I begged for mercy. Not wanting to be victim of his teasing.
"No can do, Lew." He chuckled at his own joke. "Get it? Do and Lew? It rhymes." He continued, making the so called joke even less funny than it was before. Sighing for the nth time in the last 15 minutes, my eyes betray me as they drift back to the brunette unknowingly.
"Can't even take your eyes off of her for 5 minutes, huh?" Julian snapped me out of my brief daze.
"Ugh. Can you please just let me be for like 2 minutes?"
"No can do, Lew." He chuckled at the same unfunny joke for the second time this morning. Oh my god. Please make it stop. I groaned, placing my chin on my hand for support. Its too early for this.
"Lew would you like to leave, or am I gonna have to get onto you again in the.." the Professor paused, looking at his silver wristwatch. "..10 minutes we have left of class?" He asks sarcastically. Everyone looks at me, probably annoyed at the disturbance. I hear Julian snickering beside me. Rolling my eyes at him, I answer.
"I'm sorry sir. I had a rough night." I said quietly, trying to find mercy.
"Ok enough of your excuses. Just don't let it happen again, alright?"
"Yes, sir." I nodded, looking down to my shoelaces, suddenly finding them very interesting. After a few short moments, boredom takes over once again, and I quietly grab my phone from the front pocket of my grey joggers. Typing in my code, only known to me and Julian, I open Instagram, hoping to find something more interesting than this stupid class.
Suddenly, a notification pops onto my screen. KCR would like to AirDrop you an image.
Not knowing who KCR is, I still accept it anyways. A picture pops up of a black screen with the words, "Can't keep your eyes off of me Lew?" Looking around to see if this was some sort of sick joke, nothing appears suspicious. I take a picture of a black screen and write, "I don't know what you're talking about" and AirDrop it back to them. I get another AirDrop from them stating, "you know exactly what I'm talking about. class is about to end ttyl." I look up from my phone and see Kaycee packing her things into her bag. As she picks it up, I notice fancy stitching on it. "KCR" it writes in half cursive letters.
So I guess it really is her. Well, this is gonna be interesting.

A/N: (Dont have to read if you don't want to)
Sooo this is the second book I will be posting but I'll try to update this one. If you liked the other one, sorry. I probably won't be updating it. I was in a bad place when writing the plot and now that I'm a little better I don't want to continue writing it anymore. Anyways, on a positive note, this one is gonna be a more laid back and chill book. I still probably won't post often since I still have school and stuff but I'll try. Your support really means a lot and I would love if you would comment whether you like this or not so I know if I want to continue it or not. Also I haven't proof read any of this so if there's any mistakes then don't roast me please😂.
Thanks xoxo -Lily
