chapter one, the gram

(A/N: Small description of characters in this chapter: Grace Campbell- Medium built, platinum blonde hair, blue eyes, wears a lot of black. Shawn Nicks: Average built, light brown hair, grey eyes)

Grace's POV

   I just got done with my homework, so I went on instagram and looked that I had a follow request from someone I didn't know. 

"Request from @shawnsworld" So I just went ahead and accepted and followed back. Eventually he accepted my request and I saw who he was. He didn't really have many post but he was kind of cute so I went ahead and dmed him.

@ grace2savy : Hey! What's up homeslice?:)

@ shawnsworld : Yoo nm cutie hbu

@ grace2savy: Not much, just got done with homework so I'm just chilling

@ shawnsworld: Ay sounds nice, where are you from?

@ grace2savy: I'm from florida, hby?

@ shawnsworld: EW gross, I'm from Louisiana, We're like you guys just a lot cooler

@ grace2savy: Yh sure it is, idk florida is just kinda too hot for me, I highkey want to move up north like to Minnesota or Canada. Do you have snap? I'm not really on instagram much.

@ shawnsworld: yeah, its the same as my insta name

    I went on snap and typed shawnsworld and added him.. "Hm Shawn Nicks, interesting" I went back to tell him good night, as it was sort of late and I was HELLA tired from school. "Shawn Nicks added you back! Say hi" I'll probably just message him when I wake up. I went to go take a shower, blasted "King For a Day" by Pierce the Veil, and then ended up falling asleep shortly after I finished sleeping.

                                                             The Next Morning

  I woke up to my mom yelling at me at 7 in the morning.. I'm going to be late. I threw a black YUNGBLUD t-shirt on, some white jeans, and my black vans on. I just put my hair in a messy bun and left to go to school. 

Luckily I didn't get there too late and rushed into my first period.. Algebra 2..

"Grace Campbell, nice of you to show up so late" my teacher Mr. Morris said "Did you get a late pass?"

"Haha yes Mr. Morris" I went up to the front of the room and gave my late pass to him. This is the 15th time I've been late in the past two months, and it's starting to get me in trouble. I sat down to my best friend, Ariana. She's literally the prettiest girl I know, she has curly long brown hair and her tan is so nice, I'm really jealous of her.

"Ariana, bro theres this kinda cute kid who followed me on instagram and I don't know if I should snap him or nottt" I said kind of nervously

"Girl, just snap him and say hey have a good day or something, not that hard" She chuckled

"I'm not as pretty as you, so its not that easy for me" I said and rolled my eyes

"You're gorgeous girl, trust me, you'll be FINE" She said with concern

I just trusted her and sent him a snap saying exactly what she said, to have a good day. 

"Shawn Nicks is typing..." 

"Snap from Shawn Nicks"

Shawn: Aww you're so pretty, thank you, you too

I freaked out and smiled

"See, not that hard, now lets actually do our homework before Mr. Morris has an aneurysm" We laughed and got back to work. 

                                                                           Time Skip to end of day

 I got home after a long day of school and got on discord(gaming community) with my friends and played Skyrim. I started to get bored, so I posted a pic of me with a yolo link, cause why not? I got off of my phone for a bit and continued playing games. My phone started going off like crazy, and I saw that I had 10 new yolo messages. I opened them up and some were the casual "You're so cute" "marry me please" and the weird ones like "dtf?" "thiccccc", but there was one that caught my eye. "I just met you, but you seem really cool, we should call sometime!!"

This was the only one I posted, just to see who it was, but I had my suspicions that it was Shawn, and of course, 10 minutes later my phone goes off and says "Snap from Shawn Nicks"

I opened it up to see what he said

Shawn: Ayy this was me!

Me: Oh yeah I thought so lmao

Shawn: You wanna join my discord server? Would be funnn

Me: Yeah sure send me the link

Shawn: ~insert link here~

Me: Thanks!!

I joined the discord server, and saw two people and joined the voice chat.
