"So Miss, please tell us about yourself." I watched the brown haired male in front of me. His orange eyes seemed as if he was looking into my soul. Well if I had one that is.
"Look, I have no interest in telling a reporter about my life. Now get off my doorstep." He gave me a sad look before turning around and walking down my driveway. Thank the ancient mists that my hood was covering my face. I dont even know why I was checking out his nice a-. OH MY SOLSTICE STOP LOOKING DOWN,stop looking down. His light brown tail was almost dragging on the ground as he turned his head to glance back at me.
"Before I go, may I ask you something miss?" Sighing, I nodded. His eyes seemed to shine when I did. "Could I stay for dinner? I know this is a dumb question, but I dont really have food at my place-" He turned back towards me and started at the ground. oh my gosh he looks like a puppy when he does that. Awwwwww. No stop focus on the questio- "And they told me I'm not getting paid until I have a story on a historical person." Steping out of my home, I walk up to him and place my hand under his chin. He looks up at me and gasps.
"Yes you can stay. But no questions after dinner. Understood?" As he nods, a van drives past my home. The smell of alcohol coming from it.
Later inside the house
"C...can I ask why you eyes are an ivory color? Arnt they suppose to be red?" I coughed on my drink. Some of the liquid running down my chin. He glances up from the coffee in his hands and looks into my eyes. My red hair falling in front of my face as I look down.
"All I will say is that it's part of the curse. My siblings had it too. Theirs didnt effect their vision though." A single tear fell from my eye as the happy times with my siblings came to mind.
"How many siblings did you have?"
When I didnt respond right away, he kept trying to apologize. I'm guessing that he felt bad for asking.
"Its fine. They have been gone for a while. But to answer that, I'd have to tell you about my parents." Glancing up at him, I saw that he had scooted his chair closer to mine. "My mother and father were both humans, but it seemed that the creator didnt see that as a problem. At first it seemed as if she had a miscarriage at birth, but then I was born. According to her and father, I was a tyrant at birth. Years later my-" Tears started streaming down my face.
"Hey, you okay? You dont have to tell me if you dont want." I tensed as he rubbed my back.
"No, It..its better if I tell someone this. It's been over twenty-five thousand years since all six had died." He pulled me into a hug.
"Its ok, your not alone anymore." I looked into his as after he pulled away. "I wont let them hurt you anymore." I smiled and parcktickly face planted into his chest.
"Thank you mon amour."
