"I can see Miss Jenner standing outside, she can wait" she said sternly and I gestured for Kendall to wait and she gave me a thumbs up. When everyone had left she sat down at the desk and sighed "Sofia, whenever I've asked you questions in class before, you've been very short and unkind. I don't know what changed, but it's a good change and I'm very pleased with your contributions today so you may listen to music in class when everyone else is allowed, as long as you use your fancy wireless headphones so your phone can stay on my desk.

"They're AirPods, miss" I said. I'd been caught watching YouTube and texting too many times in her class so I was banned from using my phone at all in her lessons and I couldn't even listen to music when everyone else was allowed but now I was allowed I was happy with that.

"Don't get smart now" she warned and I looked back at Kendall who was still looking at me "what have you got planned with lovely Miss Jenner this evening?"

"We're just hanging out" I shrugged and she gave me a knowing look

"If this good behaviour is because of her influence, I approve. If your grades begin to slip, I'll know why" she smiled "have a nice time, make sure you're on time to school tomorrow and you smell nice"

"It's not like that" I shook my head with a smile "we're just hanging out"

"Ok" she laughed doubtfully "where are you guys going?"

"I don't know, it's a surprise. She's taking me somewhere outside I think"

"Oh yes, her and Kylie both have those cars. I remember. Well, have fun, be safe and keep up the good work!" She said and motioned for me to leave

"Thanks Miss Jensen. And we're just hanging out" I said

"I'm an English teacher. I know when I know" she grinned and I laughed and left the room

"Hey" Kendall smiled and I gave her a hug. Almost everyone had left, there were only a few nerds left getting their things from their lockers so I thought it'd be safe to do that

"Hey" I said and got a whiff her shirt which smelled of weed

"You had a nice conversation with Miss Jensen" she said

"She's ok, I think I just never gave her a chance"

"That's been a bit of a theme lately, hasn't it?" She joked and I let go of her "she was watching that whole hug, she knows"

"She knew just from the way we made eye contact, the woman's an English teacher. They know the gays and bisexuals when they see them" I said

"So you admit you're bi?"

"I never denied it" I teased and we started walking down the long and bright corridor

"So I have everything we need" she said

"What've you got?"

"Lets think, my car, pot, and a cute girl" she said "I brought lime vodka in case you didn't want to try weed"

"I do, but how do you know my favourite flavour vodka?"

"Well, I might care so I might have asked my little sister which kind you liked best" she said

"You're actually the sweetest" I blushed

"I just like you a lot" she said and held the side door open for me "I can be nice, you know?"

"I know" I said and she linked arms with me

"So you don't go running off to a different part of the parking lot" she said
