Brothers Bestfriend ~ arreaga

SUNDAY NIGHT

it was sunday night. me being the girl i am was doing my homework for the next day. being a senior in highschool was pretty hard considering how much it was between soccer , school work and a job. it was getting pretty late so i finished up my homework , packed up my school stuff and got ready for bed. starting with a shower. after i got out i went down stairs craving icecream. when i reached down stairs i saw my brother edwin with his girlfriend, izzy. " oh hey dylan i didnt know you were home " she said, izzy was like a older sister to me. when ever i was down she was always there and cared for me. she also treated my brother the best outta all of his girlfriends so i actually like her unlike the rest. " hi izzy, i was upstairs doing homework." i said as i walked over to give her a hug. edwin just sat there looking at the football game that was on and said " we got in an out , theres a burger and a milkshake for you on the counter if you want it". " yeah thanks" i spoke as i started making my way towards the kitchen. me and my brother lived alone in a house on melrose. our parents were always busy and never in town, yeah there lived here too but it didnt feel like it with their jobs. edwin goes to college and works at hollister same as me . except im not in college of course. izzy does the same thing thats how my brother and her met. as i was done eating i made my way up the stairs and said goodnight to the couple sitting on the couch. my brother yelled " oh dylan i invited  the boys over. they should be here in a bit " as i was about to reach the top of the stairs.

oh god i thought to myself  brandon was coming over?

brandon arreaga, my enemy. brandon for some reason always  had something against me. i dont know why but the boy always got on my nerves. the rest of the boys were fine. they were like my brothers ; my bestfriends. i was always close to them and they looked out for me.  " right now , really edwin its already gonna be 9 " i questioned . "thats what i told him dee but the kid wouldnt listen when i told him i was tired " his girlfriend spoke as she hit him playfully in the chest. the doorbell rang after she finished her sentence , i was already at the top of the stairs and didnt wanna walk back downstairs so i let edwin open the door.

" hey guys , me and izzy are just watching football but the game is almost over already " edwin says as he welcomes the boys inside giving them handshakes. i watch from the top of the stairs as i notice austin sees me and runs up the stairs. " hey bestie" austin says as he gives me a hug. " hey aus" "you coming down stairs to hang with us" he asked . "nah i think ima just go watch tv in my room" i aswered. "oh come on dee, please hang with us for your bestie dee" he asked with puppy dog eyes. brandon comes up him and puts his hand on the blonde boys shoulders. "hey whats up dylan" arreaga said with a smirk. i look at him and roll my eyes. "im trying to get dylan downstairs to hang with us but she wont budge" porter says. " come on honoret, dont be lame" brandon said .
ew whyd he call me that , at least he didnt say my middle name i thought to my self.
"alright i guess" i said annoyed. and with that the three of us walked down stairs.
