You arose from your slumber and growled to yourself, looking at the time. It was 7:30am. You loved helping Todd and Joaquin with the movie but you hated the time you had to get up at. You threw the covers off yourself and got up slowly, scratching your temple gently before making your way quickly to the bathroom. After you straightened your hair and brushed your teeth you threw on your uniform for work, it wasn't fancy like an office type uniform, just something Todd and the manager required you'd wear everyday. You had to rush, only because you didn't own a car and had to ride the public bus. You grabbed everything you needed, your phone, extra scripts, papers, folders full of phone number and etc. you rushed out the door, shutting and locking your door as you made your way to the bus stop, it being a rather chilly day out. You stood against the pole people awaited around, waiting for the bus. You shivered a little and couldn't wait for The bus to arrive, it always being well heated. The bus pulled up and the driver opened the doors, everyone piled into it and searched for a seat including yourself. You settled down in a seat closest to the window where you sat by yourself, thank god you were by yourself, not wanting anyone to start conversation with you, especially at this time in the morning. You drifted in and out of sleep but In fear of missing your stop and being late, you forced your eyes to stay open as you watched cars and trees fly by. Your stop came up and you rushed out of your seat and hopped off the loud machine. The bus doors closed and it soon took off, on its way to drop off more people. You stepped into the filmset. Where everyone was trying to get everything set and done for the staircase scene. You walked into your tent and set everything down. The coffee pot and everything you needed to make Todd's cup of coffee was all in your tent, since you were the main management of the coffee. You made yourself and Todd some coffee, decaf for Todd. You grabbed the extra scripts and the hot cup of coffee and exited your tent, making your way over to the room where all three, Todd, Joaquin's makeup artist and Joaquin himself. You set the coffee aside and Todd nodded, thanking you gently. "I brought in the scripts you had wanted, I printed a few off like you asked." You said and handed him the folder, Todd taking it and opening it, flipping through the pages with a nod. You waited patiently, not noticing Joaquin, in his Joker outfit, currently getting his signature joker makeup done. He was curiously looking you up and down but as soon as you glanced down at him, his eyes peeled away from you and looked at something else. Todd set the folder aside and took a swig of his coffee, nodding gently at you. "Thank you, y/n." He thanked you softly and you nodded "no problem sir." You said softly and made your way to the exit of the dressing room, Joaquin speaking gently before you could go. "Just one small thing before you go?" He said, you being a little surprised, Joaquin never speaking to you before. "Could you bring me a coffee? Two creams two sugars please?" He asked way more politely than anyone on set has. You gave off a soft smile and nodded. "Will do, Phoenix." You said before exiting, making your way back to the tent to make Joaquin's coffee.
After a long ass day of filming and working, it was time for everyone, including Joaquin, obviously, to pack up. Joaquin was in his normal clothes and regular face. It wasn't too late, Todd offering you to go fetch something to eat with him and Joaquin and a few others. She accepted his kind offer and you took your car and They took Todd's, you following them to whatever diner or restaurant they'd choose, you were starving and didn't care what you ate at the moment. They pulled into an 'Eat N Park' you, pulling in after them. You parked your car and turned it off, settling in your seat for a moment, your anxiety starting to build up, but why? You thought as your heart started to pound. It wasn't because of Todd, you've known him forever, it wasn't being in public. Maybe it was being around Joaquin, someone you haven't known for long and got nervous when you even got the chance to speak to him. You gulped and took a quick deep breath, releasing it as you got out of your vehicle. You walked in and realized Todd and Joaquin had already fetched a booth, The two sitting on one side together, meaning you'd have to sit by yourself, which you really didn't mind, but knowing Joaquin was directly across from you had your heart pounding harder than it's ever pounded before. You slid into the booth and gave them a soft smile, you all ordered your drinks and decided on food before having small talk as you waited for the waitress to come back. "Today was, awfully tiring." Joaquin said to break the silence, you shrugged gently. "Agreed but, you're the actor, doing all that work and all must be hard and tiring." You said and he nodded, resting his chin in the palm of his hand. "Indeed, being an actor is stressful." He said and nudged Todd with a soft laugh, you shuddered at his laugh and gulped. 'God damnit y/n stop being so nervous!' You shouted to yourself in your head and took a deep breath, you didn't know what about Joaquin made you so nervous, but something did, the way he looked at you and the way he laughed just made you shudder and for what?
