An old memory

This is a story of my, Violet Iliana, life or to be more specific about a special someone in my life.

I once saw a boy on my way to the grocery store along with my elder sister, Eliza. My mom had forced me to go with her even though I hated doing all these choirs.

But I guess that's why she did that, typical moms who always know what we hate and make us do exactly that.

Although now that I look back at it, I'm grateful towards her otherwise I probably would never have met him.

He looked about my age, perhaps a bit older and was quite a cute child. Despite the fact that my memory seems a bit fuzzy.

After that, I was eager to go out with my sis to the grocery store just to get a glimpse of him (I never told anyone about this, so my parents thought that I was ill, and my stupid older sis diagnosed me as possessed and to call a witch doctor or shaman. I had a good laugh that time.)

We just used to greet each other with a small nod and smile and go our own ways. But I used to wait for that one moment every single moment every single day. I could literally feel my cheeks on a burning stove and fireworks in my little heart (Is that normal.) How did I not die out of a heart attack?!

This went on for a few months until mum dropped an earth-shattering news at the speed of light. I finally understood how dinosaurs felt during the meteor strike.
We had to change cities and move away far far away.

I threw a huge tantrum and used all the tricks up my sleeves, but alas I could change nothing. (why must the world be so harsh to me. What have I ever done to your life? I swear I never an attempted to make your life a living hell.)
Our time to leave was arriving at a frightening rate and so was winter.

I was an eight years old, young and cute child (but it's not like I'm not young and cute now.)

I knew nothing about him not even him name neither do I think that he did (of course he didn't), but none the less he was my first love.

I decided to write a love letter before I left. I stayed up all night racking my head about what to write. I carefully decorated it and my masterpiece was completed.

I woke up early that day. I needed mental preparation. I finally left home with my sister, my head was either in airplane mode or experiencing the worst rollercoaster ride ever.

I slipped it in his jacket's pocket as we brushed past each other.
I don't know how I got so much courage, maybe adreline helped. I have no iffing idea how I did it. I have completely no recollection of it.

I cried a lot after that though, I wasn't really ready to truly say goodbye.

I don't know whether he saw it or whether our paths will cross ever again or if that was the end of my childish but copacetic first love. A long time has passed since then and now my highschool life has started.
