" The swim"

I woke up, and got ready. Just in time cause Belch was already by my door. I got in and didn't see Henry.

Y: where's Henry?
B: he can't come to school today.
Y: why?
P: what does it matter I'm here.

I gave him an ugly look, Henry was a troubled kid and Patrick doesn't always make it better.

P: he'll be with us soon, ok
Y: what do u mean?
P: we're going to swim after school.
Y: ok have fun.
P: oh no princess, you're coming with us.
Y: Patrick I told u I don't swim.
P: it wasn't an offer. You're coming if u like it or not.

There was no way that I could get out of that, so I agreed.

Y: ok only because you're making me.
P: good girl.
Y: but I do need to go home after school to get my bikini.
P: or u can swim naked.

He smirked.

Y: no I'll pas on that.
B: no problem y/n, I'll take u home so u can change after school.
Y: thank u belch.

We arrived at school and I went inside, Beverly was waiting by my locker.

B: hey
Y: hey
B: how are u?
Y: I'm fine. U?
B: I'm good.

She didn't sound ok, should I ask her what is wrong? Probably not. But something was definitely eating her. So I decided to skip the first period with her and pulled her in the empty bathroom.

Y: Beverly, are u really ok?
B: yea...
Y: no ur not, tell me what's wrong.
B: nothing, everything is fine.
Y: bullshit! Spill now!
B: it's my dad!
Y: oh... I'm sorry. What happend.
B: it's just... I don't know how to explain.
Y: well if u are ready to talk about it, u can tell me.

She started crying, and I hugged her.

Y: well my dad died a few years ago.
B: I'm sorry.
Y: it was a car accident, my mom quickly replaced him with David. But I never did, and David got that. He never tried to replace my dad.

Flashback

I always hear my parents yell, why are they like this? This day was supposed to be the best day of my life. My dad walked in.

D: Sorry kiddo, i know that today is your 6 birthday. But work is busy and your mother has it hard to. But I wanna make it up to you. What about the movies tonight?

We left and...

Beverly hugged me tight.

B: I'm sorry I didn't know.
Y: it's fine I've never told anyone.

The rest of the day was painfully boring. But when the bell rang I immediately ran outside. And walked over the the boys. Patrick kissed me passionately, slipping some tongue in.

B: come on, I don't wanna be late at the quarry. And we are gonna lose time already picking up your bikini. SO JUMP IN!

We got in and he speeded off. Victor was sitting in front because Henry wasn't here. We stopped at my house. I got in and picked out my bikini. I put it in a bag together with some towels. We speeded off to Henry's house. He jumped in starting victor to his place in the back. We drove to the quarry.
