I gasp for breath, my head was soaked and there was water dripping from my hair. "Looks like he finally woke up, guess the ice water did the trick didn't it Jack?" I looked up still panting, ugh it was Joseph the most popular kid around, why cant people be popular without hurting other people? "Listen... Jack" he said my name as if the thought of it disgusted him. "I see you give Elsa that look again and your dead." Then he left. I was covered in cuts and bruises I blacked out at my first beating so he woke me up with ice water. I looked around at the empty lot in back of my high school, I find my backpack tattered and the books inside he and his friends had destroyed also. Elsa is nice but she is also popular and I am not well at least not to Joseph. To the other girls that werent head over heals for Joseph I was hot and to any other guys who werent part of Joseph's gang I was just cool. I went home to my apartment building there was grafitti on the wall that said something like GO HOME ICE BOY, but I couldn't make out the rest. I walk inside and was immediatly greeted by my little sister, Emma, "Jack! Guess what, I got a new doll! I'm going to name her... Paula!" I smiled "Hello Paula, Emma did you do your homework?" I asked, "Yes!" she replied proudly "Good now time for bed" I told her, already knowing what she would say next, "But Jack... its only 6:30" she complaned. I looked at the clock and it was 6:30 but I wasnt in a good mood and I didnt want to reflect it on her. "I know, Em but its an early bed time today? Okay?" "Fine" she said skulking off. I didnt have much to do since my mom wasnt home, she never was, always out with a new boyfriend every day, so I just went to bed, dreading what the next day would bring.

Hey guys this is my first time writing anything on wattpad so yea... I know my story is a bit slow but it will get better I promise. My goal is 20 reads since I'm not popular so im not shooting to high ... :/ like is said i just started anyway sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes, and please if u have any ideas tell me I will give you credit for your ideas I like them :)
