I do really want to talk about myself first in my first story, because I feel like it is nice to let everyone knows excatly who I am or others will be like "who the heck this nerd is"... The very first thing that I really want to tell everyone is that this is the only third year that I learned how to speak English. Pretty short, so I might gonna have a lot of grammatical errors and I truly apoligize.
Let's start. My name is Kenichi Yamaguchi, and my english name is Ben. No one calls me Ben anymore because I don't really like it. So, just call me Kenichi, or Ken if you want ^^ I am a Chinese Japanese who was born in little city in Japan on July 28, 2000. I love Japan. That is the most bautiful place to live in my mind. Small towns, small streets, quiet, clean. All the sudden happened in 2003, when I was 3 years old, we moved to Ningbo, a little city also in China. It's not that clean, quiet, or beautiful anymore. It just gives me a feeling that it is not my real home. But I stayed there for more than 10 years, until I moved to the United States. Since I am a Japanese, and Chinese people REALLY hate Japanese becasue of the history, I was bullied pretty bad in elementry school for 6 years. I do hate it, but I have no choice. I started to know sports, music, just like everyone did. I was pretty shot when I was in 5th grade, but I believe that I was pretty talented on basketball. But no one gives me a chance, all of the reasons are I am Japanese and I am too short for sports. I didn't give up. I tried to find a place where I can show myself fairly to others. I found Asia Youth Basketball League. I joined. I passed all of the test. I join Japan national U15 second team(not the first team..). I was really proud of myself, truly. I mean, think about it, nobody trusted your ability, but you didn't give up on your self. You tried your hardest to share you skills and everything that you have to this amazing world and the answer is "yes, you were correct", how exciting it will be.
It was not really long actually, because it ends after 2 years, which is 2013. I broke my ankle and my knee really bad and I did three surgeries total on my ankles and many on my knees, including big and small. It ends my dream of being a basketball player, and I came back to the real world from dream. Luckily, I got applied to a catholic junior high school in Cupertino, as well known as Silcon Valley. Our family moved to here. I love here. I love the environment. I love the food. I love the school. I love people here. I love everything here. here is like a heaven for me. I started to get a lot of friends. I got crush as normal. I have my best bro also. everything goes well. But sometimes I also miss people in China, like my ex and everything. I have to live with my mom without dad because of my dad's buisness. It sucks man, it really sucks, that you cannot live with your family members together. But I believe that it is my life,
Well I guess this is my life until now. Nothing big, but fun and interesting. I guess I can stand straight again smiling to others introducing myself:" Hey guys, my name is Kenichi, I am 14, I am from Japan, I love this land. I have many friends here, and even I only stay at this school for one and half year, I still love here because this is my school, here is where I should belong to. I like playing sports, especially basketball. I like playing drums, and I love listening to music. Nice to meet you guys, I hope I can become your guys' friend."
