It was deep into the night. The streets were empty and it was raining. A shadow flitted across the street as five figures made their appearance in the street. They were the only ones to be found there. They were huddled together under two umbrellas. One of them spoke,"Its pouring, whose bright idea was it to walk here anyways." Another answered her,"Yours,Reena." The girl,whose name was Reena muttered something under her breath as another girl spoke up,"Did anyone see that shadow flit across?" The girl who had answered Reena spoke "Yeah,I did Sheena. Though I thought that it was me imagining things. Seems to have caught the disease from Reema over there." The girl under the other umbrella spoke indignantly, "Hey,Leena,I don't have any disease. I am only observant." The girl beside Reema spoke up,"Yeah,Sherlock. " Reema turned on her,"Oi,Ruma what's you problem now." "Nothing. Merely that we all say the shadow. Didn't we now?" Everyone nodded their heads. Reema and Sheena piped up(they did have a habit of saying the same things together), "Let's follow it,who knows what adventures it will bring." Leena,clearly the most sensible person in the group said,"Yeah and have our necks broken,I suggest we stay on the track or else we are liable to lose our path." Reena said,"Yeah,of course Gandalf." When Leena turned towards her she said,"I meant that we have to stay on the track as we can get more lost than we originally are."

Reema said,"It's a bit useless following shadows which are long gone. And we are technically not lost as long as we have our phones charged." Ruma said,"Well,I suppose so but unfortunately my phone is de-charged,so what about the others?" Leena,Reena and Sheena shook their heads. Taking pictures continuously had drained their phone's battery which was previously low too. Reema said,"Never fear, my phone's charged. I shall lead you all on to the path to victory." She triumphantly took out her phone only to find that there was no network connection. Reena said,"Since we are all stuck in this lovely situation, I suggest we try to find shelter or figure out way out of this labyrinth without a GPS." Ruma said,"The second option is a bit useless seeing as we are lost and trying to find the way in this pouring rain is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But who on earth will lend us shelter?" Reema said,"Let's shelter in that abandoned house." Leena said,"Seemingly abandoned Reema,never judge a house by its exterior. We will find smugglers over there for all we know." Reema argued back, "Look do you have a better idea." Leena thought and said,"Nope. "

The others too agreed as the rain poured down harder making it impossible to stand outside. They went up to the house only to find its front door locked with a lock which was rusted. While Sheena was contemplating which stone to break it with,Reema was wondering what did she do to deserve this,Ruma and Leena were whispering amongst themselves;Reena took a pin out of her hair,fashioned it into a key and picked the lock which swung open to reveal the cobwebbed interior of the house complete with spiders crawling about and making the hair stand on the top of everyone's neck. Reema said,"Well,hopefully smugglers have better hideouts than this. " Leena snapped, "It is not funny,Reema." Reema shrugged which left Ruma quivering like a leaf. She personally found the house eerie and the spiders were just making her want to run away and never look back. Sheena sounded hopeful,"Perhaps there are ghosts in the house,oh my God its so exciting, I have always wanted to meet one." She was literally skipping with joy which left Reena shaking her head. Leena said,"Just get inside the house,they are just spiders. " Reena snorted,"Yeah obviously, who knows whether some are radioactive or not." Reema said, "Now is not the time to joke about. Just get inside,its not like there are that many cobwebs that you all have to act like its a life or death situation. They are just spiders." They all got in except Ruma who was still shaking like anything.
