Days like no other, Astoria and her younger brother Mara, was hunting in the woods, getting food for the big fest tonight. There was going to be games, lots and lots of food, and most important fun, but little did they know someone, was coming to town, someone very important, someone you cannot even laugh at nor make fun of. The king or The End Of The World. This man came to town once every year, but this year it was different he was coming for the second time. Why? who knows.
The Town of Amor, was a small little town or some would say it's the smallest town where was, some didn't even call it a town, some called it a village. Amor was within 40,000km from away from any other place that wasn't, The Heart (the main city), Pot-more, Aus, Ash, BlackButt, Orange lake, Nike. Each town was connected by The Heart. You may say it looked like a big circle of towns, each town about 50km away from each-other and about 25km away from The Heart.
Astoria and Mara just finish hunting and started heading back to Amor. When they got to town, everyone was running around like chickens with the head cut off.
"Why is everyone running around, like headiest chickens?" chuckled Mara.
"I have no idea," Teased Astoria, "Wait, no he coming today".
"who is coming" Mara asked.
"Pandora!" Yelled Astoria, running back home and leaving Mara with a big bag of meat.
"Wait!". But she was already gone.
"Where have you been!" Yelled Mother Ash.
"Astoria left me with all the meat, she just toke off" Replied Mara, with an unhappy tone in his voice.
"IS this true, Astoria?"
"Well, I saw everyone running around, making everything look nice and beautiful, when I remember that Pandora was coming today." Replied Astoria.
"Yes, he is. Now go get ready, it the second time so it much be very, very important." Mother as replied.
As Astoria cleaned herself up, she put on this light blue long dress, that went pasted her knees and she wore her Aunty shoes, small flats and the same colour as the dress. Mother Ash was just finishing putting Ivy's hair. Astoria turned around to she her lovely little sister wearing the same type of dress but only a light baby pink colour and the same types of shoe (also pink). Mara was dressed in this amazing black suit with a white tie.
"Mother, do I have to wear this?" Complained Mara.
"Yes, Now be on your best behaviour and do what Astoria says now go!".
"mum don't you have to be there too?" Asked Ivy.
"Yes I will, but I will be seating with the other parents"
Astoria, Mara and Ivy all walked up to the man in black to put there names down, Mara was made to go to the boys side and Astoria and Ivy went to the girls side. After all the children were done, the parents stood behind them.
"Lady and gentleman, put your hands together for , our King The man himself, King Pandora" said the women in purple who was she?
"Hello, people of Amor, my favourite little village. today starts a new game, you may say the Start Of A New Game. me your king has made a new law, a law to change all laws, to start a game, for all of us. There will be four people from every town will be joining these games, you will not know what will be in the games until you get there, Lady Eve, may you call a pond the chosen once please," Pandora replied.
"Yes my lord, Lady and Gentleman if you are chosen, do not cry, please just come up and stand next to me on your side, I wont bite. Lady first" She said walking over to the girls names. "Astoria Roseanna And Ashtyn Quirrel, Please come up,"
"Wait, no Ash", Ivy said starting to cry and holding onto Astoria as hard as she can.
"I must go, I must"
Astoria and Ashtyn started to walk up to stand next to lady Eve.
"Now for the boys, Mara Roseanne and Chess Coldstone, can you please come up, well brother and sister, how fun and for the first time, beautiful, like purple and pink or purple and black, yes,"
"My son, my daughter, the towns hunters," Mother Ash said to Lady Mary.
"Yes, this isn't really real, is it" Lady Mary replied, "How will I get my meat, no one in the whole town can hunt, but those two, and I'm too old".
"Ivy knows a little about hunting not a lot, she can make traps and can use an axe".
"She will have to do, the town needs the meat and food, and without hunters, we cant get that, Ivy better know my rules."
"She does, and I just hope these games aren't like the hunger games our Ancestors used to play."
