Beth hung up on him then burst into tears

Beth's phone rang, it was Kelly. It took her a while to answer it
KELLY: You hung up on me!
BETH: I'm sorry (crying)

KELLY: Drive over here

BETH: You can't tell me what to do!
There was an awkward silence.
BETH: This has all been a stupid mistake
KELLY: What? No, you're not doing this. Come over here or i'm coming to you!
Beth hung up again. She lay on the bed in the bakery apartment and picked up a t shirt that Kelly had worn and put it against her face. She could smell his cologne on it.
BETH: I can smell you!
A text message came through on her phone from Kelly

This was enough to get her up from the bed.
Walking through the corridor of Firehouse 51, Beth bumped into Matt
MATT: Beth! Hi! (smiling)
BETH: Hi there Matt, i'm here to see Kelly
KELLY: I'm here
Beth turned to see Kelly standing behind her, smiling. Matt, sensing he was a spare part began to walk away.
MATT: I know when I'm not wanted!
Kelly laughed then took Beth's hand.
KELLY: Come on, into my office
Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, car accident
KELLY: Sorry babe, we'll talk about it in the morning!
Kelly kissed her then ran off
Beth called Shaylynn on the way back to her house
SHAYLYNN: What's up little shit?
BETH: I wish you'd quit calling me that
SHAYLYNN: You know that aint gonna happen! (laughing)
Beth's car suddenly skidded on the snow covered road
BETH: FUCK!
SHAYLYNN: What?
BETH: My car just skidded on the snow

BETH: I will, I'm heading back to the house. I'll call you later!
