A New chapter

A new beginning

"Alright guys lets close it out" yelled Andi and we all huddled together.  "Spirit on 3. 1. 2. 3."

"SPIRIT" we all yelled.

"Be here tomorrow 5:15 the latest" said Richie "It's our first match of the season."

I walked up the hill towards the building and into the locker room. I made my way to my locker and took of my shirt. I took out my unit and then I took off my unit bra and then my heart rate monitor. I sat down and started taking off my socks when Sam sat in her locker right next to mine.

"Hey Reece?" She said.

"Yah sam what's up" I responded.

"Jordan and I were wondering if you wanted to come with us to the mall. Since we aren't doing anything for the rest of the day we just figured why not go out."

"Uhh yah I'd be down for that" I said as I stood up. "I'll meet you guys there."

"Sounds good"

I went to take a quick shower and then changed into a pair of Washington Spirit shorts and a random Stanford t shirt. I grabbed a bottle of gatorade from he fridge in the locker room and made my way out to my car.

"See you later reece" said Chloe as I walked by her and Kenny.

"Bye guys. See you tomorrow"

I opened my car door and pulled out of the parking lot and drove toward the mall. I got to the mall before Jordan and Sam and that's because Jordan likes to take her time and also she drives really slowly. I went inside and ordered three drinks from Starbucks and when Sam texted me and told her that they were there I told her that I was at Starbucks and she said they'd meet me here. Finally they showed up and I handed them their drinks.

"Ahh Thanks Bud" said Jordan.

"You are literally the best" said Sam as she took the drink from my hand and wrapped her arm around my shoulder.

"I just would've felt like a dick if I didn't get you guys anything." We all laughed and walked out of the Starbucks. We walked around the mall and went to different stores. We were all sponsored by Adidas so we decided to stay out of under armor and nike.

I got myself an Adidas t shirt and a pair of red white and blue Adidas NMD's. Sam and Jordan also got themselves some things. We had been walking around the mall for about an hour when Jordan got a text.

"Hey guys I have to go. Sam can you get a ride with Reece?" Said Jordan.

Sam looked at me and I nodded.

"Is everything alright" I asked kind of worried.

"Yah everything is fine there's just this interview I completely forgot about an Dif I don leave now I'm definitely going to be late."

"Alright we'll see you later. And good luck with that interview" said Sam.

Jordan left and Sam and I walked around the mall for a little bit more. Sam wanted to go to Victoria's secret because she wanted new panties so she dragged me along.

"Alright you have to help me pick some out. Which ones do you like."

I looked at all the panties and wasn't really sure. I pointed at one that was pink and black.

"Thats a good one" she picked it up and kept looking. Eventually she had like 7 pairs and then she went to look at the bras.

"Okay you have to tell me if these look good" she said as she came over to me with like 7 pairs of bras. She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the changing room. I sat on one of the chairs outside of her changing room and waited for her to come out. I heard her door open but she didn't come out. She grabbed my arm and dragged me into the dressing room.

"Can you help me?" Sam turned around and needed help clasping her bra.

"If you need help I don't think its a good bra" I said as I clasped her bra.

"Its cute tho" she turned around.

"Holy shit" I said under my breath so that she didn't hear it. "Uh no yah I mean yah its cute. Definitely cute."

She smiled at me and then took it off and put on another one. She did that like 5 more times until she had trie on all the bras that she brought to the dressing room. I'm not gonna lie I got a little turned on. Sam is really hot, but she's just a friend. Sam decided on two bras and then we went to go check out.

"You ready to head home" I asked.

"Yah I'm beat. I wanna take a nap."

"I'd be down for a nap" I said as Sam smirked at me.

We walked to my car and then I drove us to our apartment. Sam plugged in her phone to the aux and blasted some jams. Eventually we got home and we grabbed our bags and went upstairs to our apartment. Jordan still wasn't home because none of the lights were on.

"What do you want for dinner" I asked.

Sam looked at me, squinted her eyes, and then widened them when she thought of something.

"How about we order chick fil a because I am craving right now."

I couldn't help but smile "im down" I said as I pulled out my phone.

"No way put that away" said Sam "You bought Starbucks so chick fil a is on me."

"Thats too bad because I already ordered it" I said as I pushed the order button.

"Ugh you suck" she said with a smile. She stood up from the stool and went to go sit on the couch. "Come watch a movie with me."

I walked over and sat down next to her as she put on Peaky Blinders. We both put our feet up on the ottoman and when the food arrived Sam went to the door to get it. She came back to the couch and handed me my food and we ate as we watched the show. Eventually Sam and I both fell asleep because I woke up to Jordan and Tegan getting home and Sam was laying down on top of me.

Jordan walked over to where Sam and I were and looked at both of us with a smile. "Cute" is all she said and then took a picture. "Tegan come look at this."

"Ah come on Jordan" I said as Tegan popped around the couch and smiled.

"Awww" she said and put her Hans over her heart "This is cute. Send me that Pic" she said to Jordan as I rolled my eyes.

I hadn't moved because I didn't want Sam to wake up. Jordan and Sam both went to eat their dinner and later I fell back asleep with Sam still on top of me.
