ONE SHOT STORY

"Said I Love You, But I Lied."

My friend suddenly stops walking, and with confusion in her eyes, she looks at me.

"Said...what?!"

"Said I Love You, But I Lied," I repeated, "That's what SILYBIL stands for."

"Whatever, dip shit!" she said, tiredly walking along with me in the dark yet busy night of Cubao. We just came out from school and are both extremely exhausted.

"Does that sound interesting?" I asked, "Planning to make it a story title once I think of a plot."

"You're creating another piece you won't even finish and will just rot in your drafts?"

That hits me. Literally all my works are unfinished, with majority just missing an ending. I don't know why either, it always feels like I don't want to end it no matter how hard I tried to.

"Well this time, I'm pretty confident," I said, "I'll finish it!"

We stopped when we reached the bus terminal.

"What made you think like that?" she said, smirking, "Pustahan tatamarin ka nanaman."

"Well this time, I won't!" I said, "You know why? Because this story gives me an out of this planet feeling I am not familiar with. Actually, the title is just a story line I think of when I was in bus last week and it's now in my head and just won't go away. As if the line has a soul inclined with it, I don't know!"

"Antok lang yan," she said, laughing and all of a sudden, her expression changes after she saw my expression changed. It went from an extremely shocked face, to a teasingly smiling.

"What?" she asked, "Wha-What's wrong?"

"He's here!" I said, "That cute mysterious guy I am telling you!" I said, almost whispering yet excitement in my voice

"Where?!" she asked.

"He's coming, don't look around, okay? Don't--- I told you not to---Shit--OH MY GOD!!!"

Like the world as if revolving too slow and gravitational force in abnormal slow pace, he's walking towards us, he's just few inches away from me, our eyes met, he smiles, and in a sudden, he walked pass me, and I was left hanging, with jaw partially dropped.

"Just what was that?" my friend said, frowning. "This is boring! I'm going. The bus is here."

She looks at me, "See you at school, dip shit!"

With my soul still out of me, I waved back and in a sudden, the bus departs.

Slowly, I turned my gaze at the man sitting in a waiting area. As usual, he's wearing his usual office attire, with his white polo tucked in, his a bit brownish hair brushed up, and behind those glasses are pair of enigmatic cold blue eyes.

I looked at him, with my eyes as if investigating every part of him. I'm not a fan of bus, actually. I'd rather ride the MRT since the traffic jam in Quezon City is hell's branch in Philippines, but ever since I met this guy, things have changed. Not entirely I met him because he's still a stranger to me, I don't even know his name and he might even don't give a damn about me. However, ever since I noticed he's always riding a bus at the exact same time and he sits in the exact same waiting area, I felt myself having a crush on him. I found myself attracted to him, I mean who wouldn't? He seems so goal-oriented, stable, professional, tall, has a face and a lethal jaw line. God seems like created a human out of my kinks. Nevertheless, we never talked. We never had any kind of interaction, not until tonight. He looks at me. Our eyes met. AND HE SMILED AT ME!
