The Doctor lives longer in France

French audiences watching Doctor Who dubbed into their native tongue obviously can't be expected to know the difference between Christopher Eccleston's Lancashire vowels and David Tennant's adopted southern accent - but isn't there some metaphysical conundrum posed by having the same voice actor, David Manet, play them both? Perhaps realising this, Manet regenerated when Tennant did, and was replaced by Marc Weiss, who now brings mellifluous Francophonie to Matt Smith's performance. Le fez c'est cool.
