My Own Fame (Sequel to 'The Trap')

Lily's POV Chapter 1

"Good, school mom," Bayley replied, rolling her eyes.

"Hey, I'm your cool sister," I said, pointing to myself.

Apparently calling myself a cool sister, isn't an acceptable thing to do. But my siblings let it slide because they love me. I'm glad that they're not embarrassed to talk to me at school. Josh is eighteen, Avery and Bay are fifteen and Jack is fourteen. I love being able to spend time with them and make memories too!

"Um why is Axel checking you out, Lily?" Bayley asked while looking at me.

"Oh is he? I didn't notice that," I said, trying to play it off cool. 

"Lilian, Lilian, Lilian," Avery replied, shaking her head.

"What?" I tried to act innocent. (Okay granted I normally am, but this time I was guilty.)

Avery placed her hand on my back. "Y'know Mom is on her way to watch Jack too. We could easily tell her or you can come clean."

"Triple C?" I asked the girls. (Josh was talking to some friends so he missed this whole thing.)

"Yes for sure," Bayley said with a smile while Avery just nodded.

I took a deep breath. "Thanks. Yes, we're newly dating. But a lot of people don't know and we would like to keep it like that."

"We won't tell, promise," Avery said, grabbing my hand into hers.

I nodded. "Thanks."

"Hey guys! How's some of my kiddos doing?" 

"Sydney!" My twin sisters exclaimed together. 

"Yes that's me!" 

She greeted us as she sat next to me on the bleachers. Then five of us began to watch practice again. Jack is great at whatever position he plays. (I'll ask him later.)

Sydney leaned over to me and whispered in my ear. "Okay Avery, Bayley and Josh are all watching baseball. But what or even better who are you watching?"

I whispered back. "Baseball and Jack."

"Well looks like you're checking out my brother."

"Me? Nope, not doing that."

"Okay fine. I guess you want me to tell your mom?"

"Okay, okay. Yes we're dating alright."

"I knew it!"

"Is today the day to blackmail me?"

Sydney looked confused. "What do you mean?"

"Bay and A threatened to tell Mom too."

Sydney looked at them. "Okay girls, don't do that again. Our Lily can't handle the pressure."

"Okay we're sorry," Avery said with a pout while Bay simply nodded. 

I gave them a light smile. "You're forgiven."

About a minute later, I leaned over to Syd. "Are you okay with me dating Axel?"

"Yeah, I love you two together!"

"Thanks!"

"Of course." Sydney glanced behind us and I followed her eyes. Mom was here! I waved her over as Sydney got my siblings' attention. "Guys, your mom is here!"

Mom smiled at us all. "Hi kids!"

"Hi Mom!" We all said back.

"Hi Paula! How are you?"
