"What does that even mean?" I ask completely confused.

"It means that though everyone is different sometimes we need someone who still believes in everyone and everything." She says.

"Can I go to the bathroom?" I ask quickly.

She nods and leave. On my way out I run into a boy I've never met.

"Who are you?" I ask confused.

"James White." He says.

"Well I'm Roselyn Friar." I say before walking off to the bathroom.

James' POV

She's hurt. I can tell because her eyes are dull. Someone hurt her or still is and she hasn't told anyone.

I walk in the class she came out of and everyone looks at me.

"What's her story?" I ask.

"Who's?" The teacher asks.

"The girl with pain in her eyes. She said her name is Roselyn I think." He says.

"Rosie? Mrs. Friar can I go?" A girl at the front asks.

The teacher nods and the girl leaves.

"Who are you?" The teacher asks.

"I'm James White." I say smiling.

Summer's POV

I walk into the bathroom and hear Rosie's phone going off like crazy.

Roselyn's POV

Unknown #-Haha you couldn't even last one class

Unknown #-You're such a baby

Unknown #-No one cares about you

"Rosie?" I hear summer ask.

I jump and turn off my ringer.

"Yes?" I ask wiping my tears away.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

I open the door and plaster on a fake smile.

"Nothing." I say walking to the sinks.

I wash my hands and return to class with Summer close behind. We enter the class and I see James in the seat behind mine.

I look over and see Don glaring at him. I sit down and try to block out everything but my mother.

--------------------

After school I stay in the library for an hour before walking home. Yes walking not taking the subway.

"Oh Rosie." I hear from behind me.

I turn to see Natalie smirking at me.

"There are consequences when you lie to people." She says before pushing me to the ground.

Her and her friends punch and kick me before walking off laughing. I run(with a limp) the rest of the way home not bothering to wipe away the tears.

I barge in the house and collapse on the floor.

Summer's POV

The door slams open and I look over to see Rosie bruised and on the ground. I rush over and help her to the couch.

"What's happened?" I ask as her parents and Don sit with us.

"I c-can't take it a-anymore." She sobs.

"Take what?" Her mother asks.

"The bullying." She says making everyone pause.

"Who's bullying you?" Don asks anger flashing in his eyes.

"I don't know. They text me." She says showing us her phone.

"Who did this to you?" I demand.

"Some random person. I didn't see them it all happened so quickly." She says.

We all wrap her in a hug feeling terrible for our sunflower in a garden full of roses.

Roselyn's POV

I arrive at school trying to hide my face as I walk to my locker.

"Oh Rosie." I hear from behind me.

"Natalie can't you just leave me alone? What did I ever do to you?" I ask tears filling my eyes.

"You had the perfect life. The life that I wanted. Now your life is a place you don't want to be." She says pushing me against the lockers.

"What do you think you're doing?" Summer asks from behind Natalie.

"Sorry someone bumped into me and I didn't realize Rosie was there as I tried to catch myself." Natalie says innocently.
