Athena's Demand

With the strange scarlet glowing continuing throughout the sky for the remainder of the night. Currently in the "Saint's Academy" was a group of female "Saints" or "Saintias". Young women blessed with different cloths and a strong devotion to Athena, and her current reincarnation Saori Kido. In this school currently out of the 5 women who have sworn to protect Athena. One of these woman had stayed behind, allowing the newest of the "Saintias" more time to train with her cloth. As this new addition was Abit of a rushed one. One thing that this young woman was unsure of, but she would always follow Athena's wishes. No matter the hardship. After all it was her duty as Athena's attendant.

Though with the sky gleaming overhead with such a strong an unfamiliar cosmo. This greatly concerned the blonde haired woman as she felt the strong urge to look for Saori. The woman dashing through the dim lit Halls of the academy before coming into the gardens on the property. As at the very center of the garden was a lovely statue of none other than the Goddess "Athena". Her left hand clasped around her trademark scepter, as the woman stood tall among a fountain. Where water poured at her feet. The sight of the comforting statue always putting the blonde haired woman at ease, but tonight was different. As laying collapsed behind the fountain, her scepter laying just beyond her reach was Saori.

Panic now blaring within her the blonde haired woman ran to Saori's side. Calling out the woman's name in a desperate manner. Tears gleaming in the corners of the woman's sky blue eyes. As she held the unconscious body of Saori in her arms. The young woman able to sense the depleted cosmo within her mistress. Alerting her that something had caused Saori to use her Cosmo this night. But what? Turning her gaze back towards the new twinkling constellation above. That strange scarlet cosmo continuing to burn quite brillaintly in the sky above. And this only brought more questions to the young woman. Did Saori have something to do with the new stars? And if so; why? Forcing these questions to the back of her head, the young woman carefully lifted Saori from the ground.

Saori's long flowing violet hued locks swaying with each step the woman took. But still she was careful and thanks to her training as a "Saintias" the woman was able to safely take Saori to her room. Careful not to harm the delicate Saori, the woman tucked her into bed. And then left the Goddess to rest, though before she returned to her own Chambers. The woman decided she should contact the other "Saints". Feeling that this was an abnormal occurrence and everyone needed to be aware. Leaving with this the blonde haired woman returned to her chambers awaiting for morning when her questions could hopefully be answered.

It was in the early hours of morning before the weakened Saori Kido began to awaken. Her eyeslids heavy begging her to remain closed for alittle while longer. But she knew she could not. Forcing them open with a her might, Saori blinked a few times. Adjusting to the rays of sunlight that sauntered into her bedroom. It was then that she noticed that she was no longer in the gardens. That somehow she had made it back to her room safely. But how? With great difficulty Athena sat up in her bed, her body heavy with fatigue. Something that gravely concerned Saori. She was aware that creating that miracle last night would drain her to a degree. But nothing like this. As her body felt unnaturally heavy and sluggish, her mind in a brief haze as Saori stretched out her hand before her. Hoping that with this small sacrifice still that the miracle was a success.

Releasing a brief sigh, Saori was interrupted by the knock on her door. She allowed the person to enter to reveal a young woman that Saori knew all too well. Mii. Or "Saintia Delphius Mii" one of Saori's personal Saints. All who were female and cared greatly for Saori. And Mii was no different. The woman's neck length curly blonde locks and sky blue orbs. Mii was fully dedicated to Athena. Maybe perhaps more than the others as the two had been nearly inseperable since childhood. "Good morning Saori, I brought you something to eat." Mii greeted as she entered the room with a silver tray which had a breakfast omlette, toast, a small bit of sausage and juice on the side.

Smiling towards Mii, Saori welcomed her dear friend to come in. And placing the food in Saori's lap. Mii allowed Saori to dig into the food. Unable to hide her smile at the way Saori just devoured food. It was times like this that Mii would forget that Saori was indeed "Athena". And had a fate she had to fullfil, just like Mii did. And her fate was to serve Athena till the very end. All the while finishing her food and wiping the crumbs from her face; Saori thanked Mii for the food. But she knew there was something on the young woman's mind. And Saori believed she knew what it was. "Saori....last night in the sky...I'm sure everyone including Saints saw it. A new constellation came to exsitence out of nowhere. The cosmo felt... different." Mii commented noticing the look that she had never seen on Saori's face before.

Her expression was soft, and yet underneath that calm demeanor was something else. Regret and bittersweet relief which confused Mii more than she already was. "If you were able to see then it worked." Saori began with a light smile, her gaze turned to the window in her room. Where the sun continued to filter in the room. "Saori you- you did that? You made a new constellation?" Mii questioned as Saori without making eye contact for a time with Mii simply nodded solemnly before speaking. "Yes, with the help of an old friend of mine. But now is not the time. Before I say anything further I need all my Saints to return to the Academy immediately." Saori voice brimming with authority that Mii could not say no to.

Mii quickly excused herself from Saori's presence and began making preparations for not only the "Saintias" to return. But the other "Saints" as well that fought for Athena. It would be the first time that Mii would be face to face with others "Saints" besides those she knew. She hoped that they all would return here shortly. For that strange constellation even in the daytime continued to give off a dim scarlet glow which continued to loom overhead. Mii needed answers and they would only be answered by the appearence of more Saints. She only hoped they would hurry.
