The 2018-19 school year was about to end and she was walking to her algebra review class when she spotted a lost face. She looked for where she knew it from. In two seconds it clicked. She ran up to him in an excited manner. She hugged him and almost cried. It had been over eight years since they last saw eachother. They talked for over a month and got really close again. She was happy. She couldn't believe they got to reconnect. After all, her parents and his had gotten into a huge argument causing them to not be able to see eachother for those years. From the time they reconnected, they talked nonstop. They had dreams. They had problems. And they had the ability to listen to the other. They cried together. They laughed together. He had issues. He was cutting himself. He was suicidal. He hated his home life. His parents hated him. He had seen four friends die. One from cancer. One from a car crash. And the other two were rarely talked about. One friend was raped. He was jumped by fifteen guys and come out without a scratch. He ran away from home countless times. He was depressed. He was helpless. She cried. She couldn't sleep. She worried about him. Every day and every night for over three months she talked him out of leaving the world. She couldn't take it. She told someone. They called the police. He was evaluated. It was all lies. Everything. She was hurt. She was already broken and had little trust. He demolished her. He broke the small amount of hope she had left.
