It was about 1 foot long, matte black in color, and had vents on each back of the irons. It had different temperatures and the sales person set it to the middle. It was 180 degrees and there was an indicator that tells you where it is currently set at. I guess there is an option as to how hot you want the iron to be, and what type of hair you have. I have long, thin, layered hair that is so flat that is why I wanted long curls.
! He said that it was safe to use on damp hair and it will not damage the hair. I noticed that it took only a few minutes (1 or 2) for the iron to heat up as high as 210 degrees Celsius which is the highest setting it can get. It even heats up quickly, maybe a minute to reach its desired temperature. He explained that the thicker the hair, the more heat is needed. Since I had thin, flat hair, I only needed a mid level temperature.
It came out really straight in just one slide with the iron.
I now use it and not my blow dryer, and my damp hair’s layered cut is emphasized with every ironing I do. Apart from that, during special events, I only need to do my hair at home because I already have my own curling iron too. It has a flat iron but twirling my hair around it will curl it too.
For the past months that I have owned this product, I did not get my hair damaged or burned. Even if I substitute this for my normal hair dryer, this has not done anything bad to my hair like getting split ends or drying it out so much. I would shampoo my hair, put on conditioner, rinse it off, and then dry it off a bit with the electric fan to make it not so dripping wet. When the excess water is gone, I then part my hair using my hair clamp and start ironing the sides of my hair, working through sections until I get it all dry. Amazingly, the steam goes out when I iron my wet hair. I only use the second level of heat which is at 180 degrees because my hair is thin and not so long
This product is worth the price. I am happy with this and very satisfied. I truly recommend this for those of you who would like to purchase a value for money product
