Midnight Phantom

Chapter 1

In a certain hospital, there's a pretty lady lying on the bed and whose some parts of the body are covered with bandages.

According to the assigned nurse, the patient suffered second-degree burns and needs to be treated for two weeks.
The patient's name is Pi Salazar, a Civil Engineer of the famous construction company - Bridge the Gap Company.

It has been two days since she was admitted to the hospital.

As soon as Pi woke up, she checked her phone. She received messages from her families and friends who are wishing her well. She also received an email from her company.

While reading these messages, an email from an unknown sender popped up. It was a voice recording email. Yet she ignored it thinking that it was a virus.

But, another voice email was sent again to her. She deleted it. And once again, she received another voice email from the same unknown sender.

"Enough!" Pi clicked the play button of the voice email.

"Hello to our fans out there! Welcome again to your favorite Station - Midnight Phantom! Today, our story is about our new listener. A woman who admired her boss. In fact, i think, she already likes her boss. But she tried to suppress her feelings because her boss is already been in a relationship with her big boss. If you think that this story is filled with romance, then you have to think again because in just one night, her love story turns to be a tragic one."

At first Pi wanted to stop the recording because she felt like this voice mail seemed like a prank...but she was hooked as soon as she heard the story. Few seconds of listening and she was soaking with sweat.

As the voice mail continues, "One night, the big boss, the boss, and our new listener were found in the same room. They are apparently doing some project. But, they have to stop because there's some file missing. So our new listener had to go home to get the flashdrive that contains the important files. She went to the elevator and reached the first floor. But she realized she forgot her car key in her desk. So she went back and witness a crime scene."

Then Pi seemed to recall a memory two days ago...

"Yuhuuuu! Piiiiiiiiiiii! Where are you??? Do you really think that you can hide from me???"

A tall man wearing a black suit had an anxious look. He seemed worried that his prey will really get away from him.

"Well, I have something to say to you...i already locked the door in this office. And the remote control is in my pocket. So you can't really escape from me..."

*at one of the desk in the office...

Pi is trying very hard to keep silent to the point that her two hands covered her mouth. But her chest is continuously moving up and down and her shoulders are trembling violently. She is undoubtedly scared of the man in the suit.

While thinking for her escape plan, a phone suddenly rings...It's Pi's phone and the man is holding her cp...

The man in the suit saw the caller, "Sister". An evil plan came into his mind...

"Continue to hide Pi. I will play with your sister first!" and a wildly scary laughters echoed in the whole building.

Then he answered the call, "Hello! I am Pi's team leader, Mike. (pause) Oh! You're her sister? Nice meeting you! You're sister is currenly talking to our chief and she asked me a favor to tell you that she can't go home tonight.  Our project is still not finish. (pause) Yeah. She's really busy so she can no longer go to your house to pick the red flashdrive. Can you please bring the flashdrive? (pause) Thank you!"
