So you can identify whose talking
[V] Virgil
[P] Patton
[D] Deciet
Virgil had just ducked out into his room after all the commotion from that hour had finally ended, the day had taken a toll on him severely, all the disgusting thoughts and images that he saw definetly would stick in his head for a while and he nearly fell like vomiting from all the stress he was under throughout. Remus always bothered him, not just with the horrible things he imagined, but with the way he was acting towards Virgil, constantly trying to make him the bad guy of the situation acting like he was the real sickening one....the sad part is he ended up being right in the end. Virgil lay down against the wall taking slow breaths while trying to make sure he didn't give out a loud scream in frustration, he was disappointed in himself, the most he had been in years. [V] "It was me the whole time?" He said his voice sounding somewhat shaken. [V] "How could i do this? How could i not realise this before that disgusting Remus showed up! You're supposed to be anxiety, you're supposed to be the one to protect him from those sides, why can't i just change for good! Why-" He stopped when he heard the whooshing sound of someone popping up into his room, they tried to stay quiet but Virgil already figured who it could as he looked up at the entering side. [V] "..what is it Patton" he said nervously looking up at the fatherly side with sad eyes. Patton himself looked defeated almost like how Virgil felt except...had Patton been crying?
[V] "Pat...are you ok?" Virgil asked sitting himself up to face him properly. Pattons eyes were red from tears and his cheeks looked soaking wet like he was hit with a bucket of water, as well as his hoodie having tear stains around the paw patterns...he was upset alright. Patton quickly tried to wipe his eyes clean. [P] "Uh y-yeah of course kiddo, i just came to see how you were doing, i was worried since you got so agitated throughout all...well that and i didn't get the chance to comfort you" Patton forced a smile offering a hand of salvation to Virgil, but Virgil wasn't fooled he knew he wasn't the only one needing help. [V] "Patton don't pretend, you know its not good for anyone" Patton blinked [P] "I-im not pretending i'm just-" he was cut off [V] "Patton!-...please don't go through this again, alot of things bother me so maybe now...tell me whats bothering you? Then we can talk?" Virgil offered a faint smile in hopes to make Patton a little more cheery to open up and not go down the road of hiding his feeling again. Patton breathed slowly shutting his eyes, he hated feeling this way but Virgil was right he couldn't go back to hiding his feelings deep down like before. He opened his eyes as they met Virgils in a stare then he talked
[P] "I-....i just can't believe myself Virgil...i'm supposed to be Thomas's moral compass, i'm meant to be the guide who helps him make good to decisions and help him feel happy and complete with what he does, i'm his happy pappy Patton but-" he sucked in a breath looking like he was going to cry again [P] "But now....i'm the one hurting him...it was my fault Remus was hurting him i-i caused that..If i wasn't so strict with how things should work, it wouldn't have happened, i made this happen!" Patton stopped himself to breath but then covered his face with his hands, he was so defeated he had never felt so awful about something before and everyone knew how happy he could be but never how sad. Virgil's face fell seeing his fellow side so mad at himself, he didn't want that, Patton wasn't the bad guy...but he thought he was. [V] "Patton no no no you didn't cause this, you aren't even able to make Thomas upset you're his lightest happiest side, if you wanna be upset with someone, make it me.."
Patton rubbed his eyes now looking at Virgil confused, who was now slunked back down into a seating position on the floor. [P] "Why would i be upset with you?" He asked. Virgil let out a sigh. [V] "I'm Thomas's Anxiety Patton, i'm the source of his worries, his fears and his para-" he paused. [V] "...his overthinking feelings, if anyone did this.....its me". Patton looked a Virgil who almost looked like he himself was going to cry, how could he think that? Patton was the one being strict....but thinking back Virgil was acting a little too angry, but Patton still tried to repress the thoughts which hurt, but Virgil also tried to ignore the situation even more which is also a problem, so....whose fault is it? [D] "Its both of you". A familiar voice echoed in the room with them, making them both jump from surprise and fear, their first thoughts was one of the others had been eavesdropping and wanted to help, but when they both turned to look...they were greeted with the sharply dressed, top hat wearing snake faced king of lies himself...Deceit.
Virgil immediatly got up straight to face him, his face contorted into a ball of anger, he had already had to deal with Remus he was not about to deal with this manipulative snake too. [V] "Get out of my room now!" He said in deadly tone, almost sounding like he was about to break something. Patton froze unknowing what to do, the day was long and he had no idea if he was going to be able to deal with two dark sides in one day. Deceit gave a small smile and put his hands up gesturing a surrender. [D] "Now now there is no need for that, i have not come to cause you harm...well a little distress but no harm". Virgil just stared him down hard. [V] "I don't care, we're having a hard day as it is and we don't need to deal with you as well, and i don't want you making Patton feel worse today about something else!". He practically roared that last sentence, he was almost about to throw Deceit out himself until Patton finally chimed in. [P] "W-wait!". Virgil paused them both him and Deceit were staring at Patton, he swallowed a breath and spoke up turning his attention towards Deceit, his tone now turning stern. [P] "We know we're both doing things wrong, we already feel bad enough and don't want the other to take the blame, so what can you possibly tell us that we don't already know?". Patton tried not lose his temper whole saying that, as the stress from the day was already making him feel weak from sadness, Virgil turned to calm Patton down, until Deceit replied. [D] "I'm not just saying it's both of you, Logan already did that but in his words he wasn't saying what that really meant?" He said sounding more formal than before, as Virgil looked at him suspiciously. [V] "What are you talking about now? We already know we both caused problems". Deceit sighed looking down a second, being cryptic wasn't going to help, so he just came out with the one sentence neither of them wanted to hear. [D] "You're both really sabotaging each other, you're both causing problems by being closer than the others, because in reality, Anxiety and Morality aren't stable together forever, you both make the other worse".
