"Scramblephobia is the fear of eggs. Eggs are typically round, smooth lifeforms. Eggs are different from fetuses, but most people cannot tell the difference. Eggs have a shell that feels smooth. Most people that are scared of eggs are also scared of fetuses because of their similarity. A person with scramblephobia will be very sensitive to the differences. They may also be afraid of a specific type of egg. This can include snake eggs that can injure or kill a human being."

"Frogs eggs are slimey and can gross people out, so they are carefully avoided by those who live in indigenous areas. A chicken egg can be considered a prime trigger for scramblephobia. Of all eggs, the chicken egg is the most feared, because it has killed thousands of people by its cholesterol. Sometimes, the eggshells of chicken eggs can also be deadly if accidentally dropped into cake batter. The animals who attempt to eat eggshells of a chicken egg can die quickly by choking. This is due to the hard and pointy shell that less intelligent animals decide to eat, then shortly afterwards cause them to choke. The frog egg is also an example of an egg that inspires fears and phobias. Despite its name, the frog eggs actually contain tadpoles, not frogs. However, this egg, which is often found in big puddles in people's backyards and Destinyisland, has been known to trigger scramblephobia. Frog eggs tend to blend in with dirty water. This makes it possible accidentally step on a bundle and become a murderer of hundreds of innocent unborn tadpoles."

"In children’s tales, eggs are stupid, like Humpy Dumpy. However, in real life eggs are still unintelligent. They have defensive mechanisms and behaviors that make them not at all dangerous to other creatures and to people. In mass media, eggs are generally depicted in positive light, an example would be all the memes about eggs. They are associated with all manners of romance, food and Easter."

"Another reason for scramblephobia is the association of eggs with romance and babies. Eggs have been known to be laid by certain animals after mating. Cartoons like Mouse Mouse Clubhouse take a humorous, more lighthearted look at how eggs are made. However, there are still moments of suspense when eggs become menacing. These moments capture some of the unease people felt about about eggs during the Middle Ages, before scientific knowledge erased, to a large degree, magical thinking and superstition. People who believe in fairy tales have also been said to be turned into eggs. Scramblephobia can also develop from playing with eggs."

"People with scramblephobia might tremble when they see eggs, or even fetuses. They will also have a passionate desire to avoid any and all eggs. They will also want to avoid areas where eggs are laid. They may also show other symptoms of anxiety and run away from eggs like cowards. Treatment for scramblephobia includes high caffeine dosages. If a prior bad experience with a egg is the reason for the phobia, then some elements of vomiting stress syndrome may occur when a egg is present. Medical treatment with cookies or hugs are not necessary but they may be used, but be wary there is a chance of death. However, when this fear takes over, treatment may be necessary in order to ease pure pain."

Once I finished reading, I looked up from my paper. To my surprise, a lot of the students looked like they were about to burst out with laughter from hearing my essay. Even the general vibe of the room seemed a lot more giddy than before, was my essay that bad that they were laughing at me? I look to Ms. Bitters, who was still frowning like she usually did, but her vibe seemed a bit different than normal. "That was an interesting essay (y/n), but you get an A- because now I can't get my mind off it. Now go and sit back down. Does anyone else feel like sharing their essay?" Ms. Bitters asked as the students looked at their essays then shook their heads. I sat back down and glanced over at Dib who appeared to be smiling at me. I breifly smiled back before Ms. Bitters started lecturing us on how our fears make us weaker, but also protect us.
