She should be here any minute Lunar thought as he waited next to the train station. "I'm so sorry I'm late," shouted Cherrie, running from the train station to Lunar "I missed the first train." Lunar smiled at her and laughed. "It's fine, honestly I showed up too early knowing you." He chuckled and playfully tugged on one of her braids. Cherrie despite being a smart girl, doesn't have a very good grasp on how to use her time wisely. She just looks up at Lunar happily, "How shall we start this wonderful day," she says, smiling wide "I haven't done anything non-work related in forever."

When's the last time she had any sort of fun, three years ago was it? I only got this job a year ago. "I can't believe you already got a frickin' job, you're only sixteen, shouldn't you be having fun and doing teen things?" Lunar babbled in disbelief, whilst searching for things on his phone. Cherrie seemed a bit miffed though she knew what he meant. "Well I have to support myself somehow, and school can't teach me the things this job has to offer. And school can't offer the things this company has in store for my future."

Lunar had no response to her words, neither facial expression or verbal. This happens often, so he ignored her and holds up his phone to where she can see. "Let's go there, it looks cool." Cherrie looked and saw a large restaurant and bar with open seating and a romantic nightlife-like setting. "Really? A large busy restaurant?" Cherrie expressed, stroking her braid. "It's a cool cafe during the day, no worries about money either," Lunar explains, pulling out his wallet.

Lunar has always been protective of Cherrie. Making sure she's taken care of. Along with being nice, he's handsome. Black hair with dark purple streaks that make his hair look fully purple. His eyes are a dark blue that makes you feel like you can trust him.

When they arrive they get seated at an outdoor corner seat. Cherrie clasps her hands together shyly looking down at the table. Lunar orders two coffee's, one for each of them. The waitress exits, smiling at Lunar as she does. "What do you do for work? You haven't told me yet." Lunar asks dismissing their previous conversation. Cherrie looks up at him in silence with negative thoughts brewing in her head.

"Oh, just a boring science job thing." She responds quietly sipping her just now arrived steaming hot coffee. Lunar looks at her expression knowing that she is uncomfortable with that question. Or maybe her coffee is too hot. Lunar thought.

She gains a sudden serious expression, "I can trust you right?" Lunar nods slightly, yet still not sure why they're having this conversation turn into a worrisome tone. "Okay I'm only gonna say this once, I work in Oiseau brisé Labs," Cherrie says quietly. Lunar chokes on his coffee and looks at her in disbelief. "That place that got on the news? You know what they do right?"

Cherrie nods. "It's not as bad as you think. They help more than hurt I swear." She looks down into her coffee cup. "You don't have to keep doing that job, they're horrible people," Lunar argues.

Cherrie shakes her head. "I can't leave." she quietly protested. Lunar looked at her like she told him she was framed for murder. "It's hard to explain but let's just be over with this and have a good rest of our day, I have to go back to work tomorrow." Lunar dismissed the conversation and tried to move on to a different topic, I hope that her job doesn't force me to worry about her. Who am I kidding? It's a horrible job anyways. Lunar thought.

They had gotten up and paid to have the rest of their day be normal and fun as it should've been. But that conversation lingered in both their minds until they had gotten home.

...

When Cherrie gets home, she takes out the tight braids from the top of her head only to plait it into one long braid down her back. She lays down onto her mattress on the floor. She closes her eyes and opens them again to find that it's morning. She puts her light blonde hair into two buns. She leaves the small apartment with her headphones in listening to a podcast. They mention Oiseau brisé. Cherrie rips out her headphones and keeps walking to the station.

She arrives, signs in and puts on her badge, Floor C. Then she sees her boss walk into the lobby. "Cherrie, you've been assigned to a new project, 1-13. You're around its age so you'll serve as company to it thirty minutes a day. Definitely different than your normal work but you seem to be the type up for a task such a this." Cherrie nods. A nice looking redhead walks out into the lobby smiling at Cherrie. "Hi, you must be Cherrie." She said grabbing both of Cherrie's hands.

The woman was different than the other workers. Her hair was in a messy ponytail, and her badge said Floor A. "You'll be moved into the A floor from nine to nine-thirty," Said Cherrie's boss, "This is Katherine, the main caretaker of 1-13." Katherine smiled. "I think he'll like you. He doesn't

get to see many people his age, or really any people his age." She said joyfully. Katherine lets go of one of Cherrie's hands and brings her to a floor that she had never been to.

After Cherrie put on her lab coat. Katherine leads her into a locked hatch that she needed to scan her badge on. When Katherine had opened it, they saw two giant walls of glass and two rooms. Sitting on each side of the windows is a bookshelf and across each window was a long desk connected to each shelf. The rooms were mostly enclosed yet seemed to open. One was a bathroom with observation windows just above the belt in the shower and bath. The other, a room with a window on each side of the door. Katherine walks in first telling Cherrie to stay behind for a bit.
