When Sweet Pea arrived at Harper's house, he was nervous to say the least. He observed the outside of the house: the blue paint was a little bit faded and the red door had a nice little "welcome!" sign. The stairs that led up to the house had bushes and flowers on each side. He walked up the little pathway that led to the red door and knocked.
"Coming!" He heard a voice yell.
The door swung open revealing a smiling Harper. "Come in! Just make sure to take your shoes off at the door."
Sweet Pea walked in and took off his shoes as told. He scanned the cozy house, and smiled as he saw picture of a young Harper with a boy who looked a little older than her. They were on a beach, Harper on the boys back, both giving the camera big smiles. He saw pictures of her and her father along with the boy he assumed was her brother. He noticed that there were no pictures of a motherly figure and made sure to remember, so he wouldn't say anything to make the girl upset.
He was knocked out of his thoughts when said girl grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the kitchen. "You hungry?" She asked.
"A little, I just ate but I'm always hungry." He responded looking down at her.
"You sound like Jughead." She shook her head a small giggle leaving her mouth causing the boy to smile. "But that's good because I'm making popcorn. Do you want a drink or anything?" Harper said as she grabbed a popcorn bag out of the pantry and put it in the microwave.
