Chapter One

It was easy for her to get lost in her thoughts to not have a worry in the world, but lately it had been harder for her to feel any specific way she had so many emotions to feel at so many times she didn't even realize she was dating a guy out of spite for the boy blunder who she loved hopelessly she just gave up after him and her beloved best friend started dating she felt.. hopeless

"Ravennnnnnn" she could hear beast boy from a room away screaming her name she was content in her room reading her book fighting the tears threatening to fall, she sighed as she opened the door and made her way to the ginormous living room

"She's alive!" Cyborg commented, they stared at her tiny figure for a second admiring at how small and pale she's gotten over the past few weeks, they didn't like to comment on it because they didn't want her to feel bad, beastboy had made a comment once and Raven had shunned him for almost an entire month so they all bit their tongues. "Yes I'm... alive" raven spoke in her normal mono tone

It was clear by looking at her that she had been sleeping a lot lately, bags under her beautiful eyes and dried tear stains on her cheeks, it was hard for the titans to see her like this unable to help her; it was hardest on robin mostly, he felt like he had a duty to help everyone but he couldn't help her and it killed him

"So rae" beastboy spoke with caution raven cringed at that nickname he said only robin and cyborg were allowed to call her that "don't call me Rae" she snapped, he sighed and continued on "were watching a horror movie tonight, you in?" Raven stared at the green 'blob' for a couple of seconds before nodding and taking a place in between robin and Cyborg on the couch, she felt safest there. Starfire was next to robin putting her hands behind his back and her head on his shoulder while beastboy took a spot next to Cyborg after popping in the movie.

In between scenes she started sweating profusely she had been worried that the titans would sense her fear so she tried her best to push it away, Robin could sense through their bond how she was feeling he wanted to help somehow so with the one hand he had free he felt around in the dark for Ravens hand to give it a little squeeze so she had a sense that she's not alone; he felt and squeezed her hand she gasped slightly her chest raising up and down quickly as she panted she was shocked at his movement but didn't object she squeezed his hand back

After the movie ended Robin glanced over at the petrified demon examining her facial expressions, fear she felt it but she wouldn't say it he wanted her too but she would hide it until the day she dies.

It was three in the morning and raven laid there on her bed staring at the ceiling, she felt no meaning in life at this moment in time, her demons were attacking her mind calling her names falsely accusing her of being worthless making her believe all the things she wasn't; her arms were by her side blood trickling down it's not that she was trying to kill herself, it was just a way to relieve the pain she has been feeling inside for a long time. '𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒆' she had mumbled too herself she laid there emotionless too the world emotionless as to how she was truly feeling, the truth was she didn't want to live she didn't want to be here but if anyone found out she feared they would only send her away.

Her stomach began to grumble, she glances down at her caved in abdomen sighing a bit she didn't want to eat but she knew she had too, she looked over at the clock again 3:31 it beamed she pulled her sleeve down and started to make her way to the kitchen. She grabbed an apple from the fridge and a bottled water for her thirst, she took a bite from the apple smiling as her taste buds enjoyed what she was putting in her mouth, "what're you doing up" she heard from the entrance, looking up at the leader she spoke "just couldn't sleep" Robin glances at her for a second examining her "Rae.." he starts, she can feel the conversation getting serious she wanted to bolt but she couldn't.

"I wanna help you.." he managed to get out, she looked down at the ground before responding "I need to go." She started to walk before he grabbed her tender wrist, she sucked in trying to hold the pain robin noticed her sudden breathing becoming worried "please let me" he pleaded, she had no words left to say she didn't want to fight him anymore she couldn't fight him anymore, their bond made them close whether she liked it or not, she slowly breathed out closing her eyes before whispering "okay"
