Crowley smiled at aziraphale . He'd hardly ate any food but enjoyed watching him eat very much so ...
"Crowley , please eat something it makes me feel under pressure when you don't eat anything..." cried aziraphale chewing on his salmon
Crowley snapped out of his loving gaze and began prodding at his stew with his fork "not really hungry angel, don't feel like that though it make me happy to see you happy." Crowley has such joy in seeing aziraphale smile , like whenever he'd save him from dis corporation it filled him with such care and love .
"Oh alright" said aziraphale going back to eating , savouring every bite
"To the world ," smiled Crowley raising his glass
Aziraphale joined him
"To the world ..."
About half an hour later they'd finished eating ...well ....aziraphale has finished eating .
"Come on angel I'll take you home," offered Crowley , pulling out aziraphales chair for him, what a gentleman.
"Oh thankyou Crowley , id appreciate that."
Driving home was sort of awkward, Crowley wanted to talk to aziraphale about something but couldn't spark a conversation. "Crowley, do you think heaven and hell really will leave us alone after what we did ?" Worried aziraphale
"Well the way you spoke to them I'm certain of it! Still can't believe you asked for a rubber duck " both burst into laughter for a while "well says you , you blew fire at the archangel GABRIEL!"
Crowley smiled and murmured something not thinking "I had to , the way he speaks to my angel is disgusting .."
Aziraphale looked over slowly "y...your angel?"
"what! I I uh didn't say my angel I just uh..." Crowley interrupted "I just
meant that when I was in your body I saw how they truly treat you up there and it was incredibly hard to not lunge at him and throttle him!"
Aziraphale went silent "that's awfully sinful to think of Crowley ..."
Crowley gulped then smirked "im a demon , it's what we do angel . "
Aziraphale rolled his eyes playfully "yes but you WERE an angel once ......speaking of that, what was it like when you were an angel ?"
Crowley said nothing then sighed "don't really wanna talk about it angel ..."
Aziraphale nodded and gazed outside at the fast passing streets of London
