I know it seems really intimidating at first, but I can promise you that fried guinea pig is the most tasty thing you'll ever meet, especially if you eat it in Cusco. I don't suggest it on your first day though. It's super good and they have many ways to prepare them. I ate a whole cuy and I don't regret it. Don't eat it from fancy restaurants. Instead, go to those restaurants inside of houses. The ones on the way to Pisac are the best.
