Chapter 1- Joining The Fight

Today's the day I join the military! I'm fricken pumped! It's always been my dream to fight for my country, but I mean it hasn't always been my dream. I once wanted to be a gym trainer, believe it or not!
I'm on my way to the base right now. I have to admit it takes a hella long time to get there.
I get out of the car and stretch, "Ngh..damn, this better be worth it."
I look at the sign at the door, Fairy Tail Army.
Tsk, fairies don't even have tails. Do they?
I walk in the large doors, or should I say heavy doors!
A cheerful girl with white hair greets me, "Hello! Welcome to Fairy Tail Army, I'm Mirajane Strauss. What can I do for you today?"
"Um, I want to sign up for the Army."
Her face lights up, then she turns over to a door behind her, "YO BOSS! WE GOT A NOOBIE!"
Then a blonde chick, mind you a hot blonde chick walks through the door wearing a white tank top and camo print pants.
She notices me staring and says, "Take a picture, it'll last longer."
My faces gets hot and I look down, "U-Um...sorry Ma'am..."
She sighs, "Lucy, Lucy Heartfilia." She reaches out her hand for me to shake. I notice that she's really well built. When my hand meets hers, she pulls me towards her and whispers in my ear, "Listen here noobie, no questions just following me. Stay next to me and zip it, got that?"
Sweat drips for my forehead, "Y-Yes M-er...Ms.Heartfilia..."
She backs away and gives me the brightest smile, "Well then, let me go introduce you to everyone. Oh and I should note that we all have code names, I'm known as The Sharpshooter, most people call me Boss though." (A.N- Lance reference lol)
We walk through the door and I see a whole bunch of people, well over a thousand, doing different activities.
We walk over to a petit girl with light blue hair, "This is Levy, the Nerd or Bookworm whatever you wanna call her."
Levy waves to me but doesn't lift her head from her book.
Next we go to a guy with long black hair and piercings, "He's our newest recruit, Gajeel, we call him Metalhead. He's our specialist in welding and weapon arts."
"Yo." He says, waving slightly.
We move onto a dark blue haired girl, who looked like she was 16 or 17, and a red haired girl talking.
"This is Wendy," she points to the young girl, "She's our Air Forces captain, we call her Wind. She's our youngest." She pats Wendy's head.
She then turns to the red head, "And this is Erza. She's known as Samurai, she's our swordsman, er, swordswoman?"
Erza laughs, "Nice to meet you...?" She waits for me to say my name.
"Natsu Dragneel. I specialize in bombs and fires. Anything to do with fire really."
She smiles, "Well then you won't like Elsa."
Lucy laughs and pulls my arm away from them, "Anyways, this is Gray." She points to a guy my age with dark blue hair, "He's our freezer guy, I call him Vampire, but everyone calls him Elsa."
"Nice to meet you." He says, smugly.
WTH! I already hate him???
"GRAY-SAMA~~~!"
He tenses yo, "Uh hey Juvia...."
A girl with curly blue hair jumps on him, Lucy smirks but continues to introduce, "This is Juvia, she's nicknamed Mermaid. She's a hella good swimmer and she's great at anything to do with submarines."
Juvia glares at Lucy, "Love-rival....."
Lucy glares back, "I told you that I'll never love anyone after what happened to..." she trails off when she notices everyone staring.
She scowls and stomps off.
"Um what happened to who?" I ask.
Erza suddenly appears behind me, "Her old partner, Sting Eucliffe."
"What happened?"
"Well, he joined here around 5 years ago. Him and Boss immediately connected. Before we knew it they were partners in crime. They would do anything for each other." She pauses, "But just under 2 years ago, Sting was killed in action. He was protecting her from a fatal gunshot. He died in her arms. His last words were I love you...."
Wow, that's...sad.
"Is there anyway to make her happy again?"
Erza scoffs, "I'd like to see you try. Even Elsa can't cheer her up. And they're like siblings. If you wanna try go ahead, just know it won't be easy."
