Love Prevails (Delijah)

Chapter 1

Ellijah's POV:

"Where is he Stefan" I ask him once again getting frustrated but not letting it show, he gives me an innocent face says "I don't know" I look at him with a knowing look. I sigh knowing I'm not going to get anywhere with him when I heard a noise downstairs I look at him then flash down stairs. I stand in front of a metal door I hurry up and open it seeing Damon sitting up looking at me with glossy eyes. "Took you long enough" he told me trying to be sarcastic but i knew better. I walk over picking him up bridal style "i missed you too" i tell him, he puts his arm over my shoulder nuzzling his face in my neck "me too" he mumbles. I turn to the door looking at Stefan standing dumbfounded "i'm taking him" i glare at him daring him to say something, he nodded so I nodded too. I walked upstairs Damon in my arms, i walk out the house and go to the passenger side of my car sitting Damon down in the passenger seat. I watched as he curled up in the seat, i shut the door and walk around getting in the driver's seat pulling out of the driveway heading to the Michaelson mansion. Upon arrival Rebekah was outside, i got out ignoring her going to the passenger side picking Damon up in my arms shutting the door "how dare you ignore me Ellijah" she says with a annoyed tone walking over to me. Rebekah looked at Damon in my arms "what happened to him" she asks somewhat worried I started walking motioning for her to follow. We walk inside "his bastard of a brother locked him up starving him" i tell her as we walk she looked shocked, i saw a maid motioning her over "i need you to get me at least 4 blood bags, have them brought to my room" i tell her she nodded taking off to get them. I went up the stairs, "he did what!!!" she yelled as we enter my room waking up Damon he opened his eyes confused looking around "Rebekah!" i said looking at her. I turned towards Damon "shh love, its okay" i tell him as i lay him on the bed he nods. I hear the maids footsteps as she heads to my door and knocks i walk over thanking her taking the blood bags from her. I walked over to Damon as he eyed the bags hungrily veins appearing under his eyes i give him a bag and sit the other ones beside him. I watched as he drained all the bags.  Ithrew them in the trash as he curls up on my bed i pull the blanket up over him as he falls asleep. I sigh as i run my fingers through his hair as he sleeps peacefully. I turn to look at Rebekah as she clears her throat "we should head downstairs, I can hear Nik calling for us," she tells me, but I hesitate not wanting to leave Damon. Rebekah noticing this puts her hand on my shoulder "he'll be fine Elijah, i promise" she tells me. I hear Nick continuing to call for us downstairs, i nod as we head down the stairs. We walked down the stairs seeing Nik at the bottom waiting for us "get ready were having dinner tonight" he tells us with a smirk. "Who's attending" Rabekah asked excited but not showing it, "oh wouldn't you like to know" he says with a cocky grin "you'll have to wait and see" he says walking away. Rabekah gives a frustrated sigh, Klaus stops just before he walks into the kitchen, to check on dinner i presume."Don't forget to wake up sleeping beauty" he says knowing Damon was in my room sleeping, he then exits the room. Me and Rebekah flash to our rooms. When I enter my room Damon stirs opening his eyes "Elijah" he mumbled rubbing his eyes, he's so cute. "Oh Day, sorry you need to get changed were supposed to have dinner," I tell him as i walk to the bathroom starting the shower I could just imagine the confused look on his face right now.

Damon's POV:

He tells me were supposed to have dinner, with god knows who, i know klaus is up to this i swear i'm going to punch him. "Day i think you should shower first" Elijah tells me turning on the water, i smirk "would you join me" i ask with the most seductive voice i could muster. I see him tense as he contemplates this, he stands a walks so he's beside me "sorry but not today, gotta get you something to wear" he tells me, from the look in his eyes I could tell he wanted to but couldn't. I pout as he kisses me on the forehead, he pulls away and i grab his collar pulling him down so our lips collide. We kiss hungrily not wanting to seperate but we both knew we had to, he pulls away and leans forward so his lips are against my ear "later" then he was gone. I bit my lip in anticipation as i strip and get in the shower. I scrub my hair over and over hating the fact that i haven't showered in days, i wash my body and hair out i turn the shower off and step out wrapping a towel around my waist as i walk into the room. I look on the bed to see a black dress shirt, my leather jacket which has been freshly washed, and a pair of black skinny jeans. I get dressed and go back in the bathroom and do my hair. I walk out of the bathroom and I see Elijah there in a brand new suit, his hair was done he looked gorgeous "have I ever told you that you are so Hot" I tell him as i walk up to him a smile on my face, a real genuine smile. He looks at me and smiles "I don't believe so, but you do look stunning" he tells me making me blush i look down avoiding his eyes. I feel his fingers under my chin as he lifts my head "don't be embarrassed love your beautiful" he tells with a sweet smile, I smile back as we both lean in and our lips touch in a passionate kiss. "Hey it's time to greet our guests" Rabekah says opening the door without knocking I blush and hide my face in Elijah's neck. "Dear sister do knock next time" he tells her with a hint of irritation in his voice "SORRY!" she says as she shuts the door Elijah sighs. He pulls away holding his hand out to me "shall we go" he says to me, i smile taking his hand "always the gentleman" is say as i hold his hand he opens the door and we walk out into the hall, heading to the stairs. I tighten my grip on Elijah's hand as i see Stefan, we stop Elijah turns to me putting his hand on my cheek I look into his eyes "I will protect you no matter what, love" he says i nod he smiles as he takes my hand again leading the rest of the way downstairs. Before us was Stefan, Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie wait, i turn to Klaus "How did you get the wicked witch to come" I ask him making him smirk "I have my ways" he says jeez he always trying to show off "now let's eat shall we" and just as he said that the dining room doors opened and the grand dining room was revealed. We all entered, I sat beside Elijah, the dinner was spaghetti which looked really good "okay let's eat and discuss why i asked for all of you to join us," Klaus said way too smugly but screw that right now im going to eat this delicious spaghetti, i take a bite it is delicious I continued to eat as they talked listening but not showing it. "I'm not sure if you have heard but we have been having some vampire attacks around town" Klaus says making sure he has everybody's attention "Now these attacks seem to be organized" Klaus says "how organized" Stefan says with that look he has on his face when he's thinking, Elena puts her hand on his hand and he pulls away glaring at her, trouble in paradise. "Well they have been attacking, founding families" Klaus tells them Elena looks scared probably because of jeremy. "So what are we going to do" Bonnie asks seemingly worried but trying not to show it, "well I believe we should do a bit of patrolling" Klaus says sounding a bit bored he looks at Caroline "and it would be helpful if you could get your mother to let us look at the reports" he asks, she nods knowing she'll do whatever she can to help. "Okay first watch will be tonight, we will have Rebekah and Damon do it tonight, any objections" he says looking at everybody i finish my spaghetti wiping my mouth clean. I shook my head as I drank the blood from my wine glass "Well then meeting adjourned, you may eat or just leave" Klaus says as he gets up and leaves the room I finish my glass of blood and me and Elijah head upstairs. I change out of the dress clothes putting on something a little more casual. I lay in bed with Elijah cuddled against his chest. We stay like That until it's time to go.
