Ding Dong the Queen is Dead.

Many years ago...

"AHHHH!" yelped Maddi, as her older brother Seth threw a snowball at her back. "I' ll get you back for that" she cried as she gathered up a snowball. A second later she threw it at Seth but Seth dodged it as it flew past instead hitting poor Samuel who was sitting by reading his favorite book, 'Advanced Spells for the Underaged'. Their dad gave him that book. Seth fell to the ground laughing.

"Your gonna better run Maddi... cause I will get you back!" Samuel told her while gathering up a snowball. "Take tha-!" DING DONG!!! Rang the bell on one of the towers. DING DONG!!! It rang again. The bell continued to ring while Seth rush Maddi along the halls of her home till they reached her parent room Samuel slowly opened the door and to the boys horror they see their mother laying down on her bed as a doctor spoke to their father. All Maddi heard was " I'm sorry Sir... their is nothing we can do" Before he walked away. Seth, Samuel and Maddi see their two other brothers in a corner with their heads bowed. Confused, scared and worried, Maddi walks up to her father slowly and asks " What's wrong with mumma?"

"Oh my child..." he says looking at her, unable to put in words what he knew. "Mumma is gonna go to sleep... and she won't ever wake up again..."

Still confused, she asks, "Why?" Her father stays silent. The room falls silent for a few seconds before her mother says,

"Maddison, my daughter... I have gotten very sick... and it is the reason that you father and brothers are sad" she tells her in a low horse, tone. "But I do not leave you without something to give all of you." The boy look up at her. "Zach, my eldest... I give you the widsom of a thousand life times. Use it to guide your siblings down the right paths." One of the boys in the corner look at with eyes tearing up and nods. "Derk, you shall be given my old kingdom. The Kingdom of Atlantis, guide them now and forever intil you join me again." The other boy and the corner nods and says,

"I will care for it as you have cared for me."

"Samuel, you will be given all my spell books as well as the key to mastering the art of Fire bending. Use it well in protecting those you love" Sam just noded as he struggled to fight his tears. "Seth, my youngest son, I give the key to mastering the art of Earth bending." Seth bowed his head in sorrow. "And finally my only daughter..." their mothers eyes went to a now teary eyed little girl. "Come here." Maddi obeyed. "I give what else is mine, including the keys to mastering the arts of water and air bending. But the prize I give you is not for you to know now, but rather later," she said softly wiping a tear from her cheek but the moment the mothers thumb left Maddi's face began to burn she grabbed it in pain as she fell on her knees. She was confused at why her family wouldn't help her. She was in so much pain she was begged for it to stop and it did... but only for another to start she looked back up and her mother with a burn mark on her cheek only to hear her say goodbye, then close her eyes and her last breath left her body...

A few days later...

Maddi refused to come out of her room still as she grieved for her mother. She is crying into her pillow when she hears a knock at her door. Zack comes closes the door and sits at the end of her bed. "Hey... little Mad, guess what?" He tells her softly. She doesn't respond. "Tonights dinner is your favorite," he continued. Still no response. "Maddi, Mummas funeral is in two days you'll need to come out soon... people from far and wide will want to see yo-" Zach was interrupted when Maddi lifted her head and yelled "Do you really they will wont to see this" gesturing to her hair which once was a short beautiful jet black was now silver and was past her hips. "And this mark what even is it!" Pointing at the black cresent moon and stars on her right cheek. "I'm a freak..."
