"Hey." Quinn said as she gently woke Puck up in the morning. "Breakfast is here."

"I'm not hungry." Puck muttered as he put his pillow over his head.

"Well, you have to get up." Quinn told him. "Everyone's up already. They're waiting on you."

"Jet lag's a bitch." Puck muttered as he climbed out of bed. "Why'd they send you to wake me up?"

"No one sent me. I just thought you'd wanna eat something." Quinn said. "And I figured you'd get mad if we left you sleeping while we all went to the hospital so..."

"I need to shower." Puck said. "Is Beth ready to go?"

"Yes." Quinn nodded. "Go shower. We'll leave when you're done."

Puck nodded and excused himself to shower.

When Puck got out of the shower, he walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist.

"You have no shame, do you?" Quinn noted.

"I heard Beth leave." Puck shrugged. "They went to the hospital?"

Quinn nodded. "Rachel said you were taking too long."

Puck nodded back and started to walk away. He paused and turned back to Quinn. "Look, I don't know what you're up to or what your motives are-"

"Excuse me?" Quinn cut Puck off. "My motives?"

"You got here pretty fast." Puck shrugged. "How many times did you tell me you didn't have time to spend a weekend in L.A. with me?"

"My motive for being here is that our daughter's mother is dying. Our best friend's mother is dying." Quinn said as she stood up. "And if that's what you think of me, then I'm not gonna wait for you. I'll see you at the hospital."

"Quinn, just wait five more minutes." Puck requested. "By the time you get a cab, I'll be ready to go."

Quinn shook her head. "You could use the time alone to think about what you just said to me."

Puck sighed as Quinn walked out of the apartment. He wasn't trying to fight with her. In all honesty, he missed her and he knew it wasn't the time to focus on that, but it wasn't easy avoiding it either.

Puck quickly dried off and got dressed. He grabbed his breakfast off the counter and left the apartment to head to the hospital.
